Product Overview

Bug-Juice (1.66 oz., treats 1-gal.) is a remarkable insecticide paint additive. It can be added to any paint, stain or sealant. Once applied to the surface and let dry, bugs that crawl on or land on the treated surface will die (within 3 – 5 hours).

  • Can be applied on most interior and exterior surfaces, including kitchens and pantries
  • Bug-Juice does not repel insects, it is a contact pesticide and it begins to work after an insect makes contact with the treated surface
  • Will not affect the color or drying time of the coating
  • Recommended that you hose off the treated surface with water twice a year, this provides a clean surface for insects to land on
  • Bug-Juice is odorless
  • Bug-Juice will last a minimum of 2 years
  • Bug-Juice can be added to any oil or latex based paint, stain, or sealant
  • Bug-Juice is registered by the USEPA

I am thinking of using Bug-Juice in a home that has a pet. Bug sprays and liquid roach traps have helped other friends, but they have done little to abate roaches and other insects. While we believe this product may be perfect for the use, we don't want it to attack the cat. Has there been any experience with this in a home with pets? The included MSDS is very thorough (if technical) but only describes effects on fish, not mammals. Thanks.

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great so far. I added Bug Juice to stain for my front porch. We have vey large rough sawn cedar timbers and a hardwood slat ceiling. Last spring and summer it was covered with wasps and the wood bees were tearing the timbers up. I filled all the holes and restained all of the exposed wood and have not had a single insect on the wood so far this year. Hopefully the results will last a few years. May 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KILLS BED BUGS TOO We used this product in our apartment complex to help control cockroaches and bed bugs. We painted the walls and around the bed frames. I can say without a doubt that this product does a exactly what it says it does! No cockroaches and no bedbugs. Buy it! February 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IT WORKS! IT REALLY WORKS Waited to post a review until the mosquito season came to a close, and I can say that over a 4 month span we had maybe a handful of mosquitoes over that time. It lives up to the hype, and accord to the advertisements I wont have to reapply for another 5 years!!! Love it. September 19, 2013
