Can I use any frame for a 30 in wide door but the depth is 6 inches?

We are replacing a doorway that goes into a laundry room from our kitchen. To do so we are looking at a 30 inch wide door that the doorway currently is, however, the depth is 6 inches. Do you have any frames that would suffice for this depth?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the monies Needed it to be for a 26" door and called manufacturer for instructions on how to do it....was easy to cut down. Just wish Home Depot would've been able to order a 26" for me but wasn't available!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Visit the Door and Window desk before puchasing. After scratching my head about how to assemble this for a day, guessing and second guessing myself about how to put it together and install it, I took my wife's advice and stopped at the "Doors and Windows" desk when I was back at the store. It turns out that they have a full sheet of assembly and installation instructions that they are supposed to give everyone who purchases a pocket door. No one would ever know that, particularly since the box promises "instructions included" not "instructions at the desk". I'd be lying if I said that the instructions were super clear, but having them allowed me to quickly go from looking at a hole in my wall to having pocket doors assembled and installed. DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT PHOTO ON THE HOME DEPOT WEBSITE AS A GUIDE FOR ASSEMBLY. It is not correct. I guess the product photographers couldn't figure out where the instructions were either.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pocket door Frame was not assembled square, but was easy to fix. Hardware worded good and finished product is very satisfactory.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Look for Something Better There were no instructions included for the size of the rough opening and how to attach the pocket door frame into the opening. I had to partially assemble the frame and do the rough framing around it and guess how to attach it to the floor and header beam. The instructions for installing the trolley hardware and how to attach to the door were printed on the plastic bag that contained the parts, so be careful opening the package. The pocket door frame is cheaply built. Spend a little more and get a more durable product that comes with instructions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish there were other options at HD It's unfortunate that you can't find ANYTHING online with regard to manuals, how this should go together, etc. Yes, I can figure it out. Should I have to? No! There were things that just don't make sense about this and the assembly that at first get you scratching your head. I'd rather have a product take longer to put together than a product take longer to figure out. Plus, this is a flimsy frame that really shouldn't cost as much as it does for some stapled boards. I would bet there isn't a builder out there chooses this over other options.
