Doors have to be sanded down before any painting. Poor quality machining around the box edges.
Lots of dings and stuff. Maybe the H/D handling. ?
If your looking for perfect doors forget it.

Very nice interior door! Was ready when it was supposed to be. Easily primed and painted. Lock and handle installed easily. Door went right in. No muss, no fuss.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sparky Use More Glue!
The veneer on parts of the door had lifted due to a lack of glue. I had to cut the bottom of the doors to fit in my application. As I cut, the parts that were supposed to be glued fell away from the rest of the cutoff - NO GLUE!
These doors are made with flat sawn pine so there is no straight grain pattern. They use a maximum of low quality wood and laminate the "good" pine to the face. You'd think they could use quatersawn at least for the laminate.
When I picked up the doors, one had been damaged on the edge. The damage was under untouched cardboard so the damage was done at the factory and they still shipped it out. Luckily, the associate at HD suggested we unwrap everything and that's how we found the damage. CHECK EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU ACCEPT THESE DOORS!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ChrisB Solid wood door but could be better
Overall I give this door 4 stars. no issues with the door but I will warn other buyers that the joints on the door assembly could be tighter, 1/16-1/8 in gap in some areas (the door is solid built but the tolerances on the cutting could be better). This door works get for me because I am painting the door and I am using chalk to fill in the gaps (older house with solid white doors) If you are going for stained or natural look, you might need to look over the doors very carefully to find a door that appeals to your standards. All in all a good solid door.
