I used these 6 panel doors to make a full paneled wall against my fireplace to compliment our 1827 home , my family and I have painstakingly put this diamond in the rough back to her former glory its taken 10 yrs. of blood sweat, tears, and a big bank account. Now one more project is complete and the wall appears like she would back in 1827.

Both doors had glue (like rubber cement) where labeling is attached, is really hard to remove and if not removed completiely will show as little dots when stained! Also they have rub marks (scratches) from handling and handling in store.

These doors provide a great improvement over the white cheap hollow core doors builders put in houses. I replaced all the doors in my house for a dramatic effect. It makes the house look richer and if you do the work yourself you can do it fairly economically. Do look the doors over carefully as many a dinged up even brand new. If they aren't in the original wrapper they were probably returned and have more dings. I also replaced all the baseboard and used fluted casing around the doors. You do have to be willing to spend time if you are going to stain and poly, because it's very time consuming. I wouldn't spend the money to paint over them.

I bought this door to use as a "barn door". Rollers were attached to the door and it hangs on a track. The door slides back and forth to close off one room from another while using no additional space. Door was excellent for this application.
