This is a very good door for the money and the look fits perfectly with a midcentury house. We ordered it primed and painted it ourselves so I can't comment on the factory paint job.
We ordered the rain glass and its privacy is very good. No one will be able to see inside your house if they put their eye to the glass and you can see the size and shape of a person if you look out from inside. You will need a peephole if you want to recognize people or see further than 5' in font of the door.
The standard satin nickel hinges were fine with us as it is the same as our other doors in our house but someone else may not want them if they have oil rubbed bronze or brass hardware.
In my area (MN) the standard 4-9/16" jamb width will be about 3/4"-1" too narrow for most midcentury houses. Plan on adding extension jambs and a snap-on aluminum sill extension to the exterior. For me the price of this standard door more than offsets the little bit of time, material and $ to customize the depth for a deeper wall thickness

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RElliottBernard Excellent product and well-installed.
We were pleased to find that Home Depot carries, online, a contemporary series of front doors. The one we ordered was as described, and through Home Depot it was professionally installed. The door is as described in its specs and more than met our expectations.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by maclaugh Well built, and added benefit for short dogs
From factory it measures exactly, if the opening on the house had been square it would have been over and in in minutes. Attractive door that closes solidly, our choice of hardware required an additional hole to be drilled and that was not a problem. The matt finish is perfect.Hinges are strong, seal is well engineered. glad we made the purchase. Added benefit is the Frenchie and Corgi now have a window to see who is approaching, see photo.

This is a good door with a solid and sturdy frame. It was relatively easy to install. The door is tight within the frame, which is great for security and a good seal, so an accurate installation is critical. It was delivered on a pallet in a very secure upright position, which reduced potential for shipping damage. The packaging was well-designed and protected the door very well. Nonetheless, there was some minor paint loss on the window frames on one side. Fortunately the door comes with a bottle of touch up paint. For our application I had to remove the brickmould, which, while well-secured, came off easily without damage to the door or frame.

We love our new door we just had trouble with the delivery company Saia. They messed up the first one but thankfully Home Depot refunded it and ordered us a new one. The door looks great on our house and provides more light. I would recommend the door.

Love this door - looks great and very functional. I admittedly had a contractor install so cannot comment on ease of installation. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DLB The Door was good but the paint was scuffed up and I haven't been able to match the red Paint.
The Door had some areas that the paint was scuffed up during shipping and I don't know the color to buy and touch up. I would prefer to paint the door after install. That was not an option for this Door. Is there anyway to get the exact color of paint to do the touch up myself. The Contractor desk at the store told me it was Sherwin Williams Red Engine but that is not a Sherwin Williams Color. Please advise

I wanted a door that had some glass in it and a modern look. This door fit that request. Everyone likes it. Dachshund dog loves it as he can see out of the bottom most glass and bark at everyone.
