The paintable shutters are a great addition to our exterior look, and very easy to install! We are very happy with them.

The color is perfect. They looked even better than I had hoped. We just put them up, so I can't speak to how they hold up. I would recommend them to people in a heartbeat.

These shutters are lightweight; I ordered the paintable option. They are painted now and look beautiful. The only reason for the 'good' on appearance is that the fasteners are visible on the front of the shutter - a rounded nailhead look. They look fine - but nowhere in the information does it tell you that the fasteners (supplied with the shutters) will be visible. I had hoped they would somehow connect on the back.

I did not use the big Gigantic plastic anchors I don't like the ideas of drilling holes though the exterior of my home think water pest cold air so I used paneling nails like finsh nails but with rings on them one in each corner in two in middle no holes to drill holding great oh ya took a permanent black marker to color the whit nails

These paintable raised panel shutters are just as the picture shows. I was pleased with the product but even more so after I painted them. They are durable but yet light weight so they were very easy to work with. The only area in need of improvement is how these shutters are hung. The plastic screws didn't hold the shutters very unsecurely. Luckily once my siding was hung up beside them, the shutters were immobile.
