Up under a month, they were easy to install and look great. They do feel solid and of good quality for what they are.
As with past shutters, I'm concerned with the open back as a place for bee's nests, if they were a solid back they would be better.
Shutter companies definitely make a nice profit on these as I can't imagine the plastic here costs that much more than different styles.
As long as these don't fade I'm a happy man.

First time not using a wood shutter. This was easy to install, looks good from the street despite being a plastic-like material (or whatever it is called). Feels very light and chintzy (thin and not very deep) but once it's installed it looks and feels solid. You get what you pay for and I'm very satisfied with the results.

These shutters are so light, they seem a little flimsy. But once installed, they do NOT look flimsy at all. We got the shutters in "black" and they look terrific against our sandstone-colored steel siding!

The Board and Batten shutters gave our home the distinctive and historical appearance that we were seeking. The shutters are light weight and easy to install. Best of all when combined with the Decorative Shutter Hardware, the shutters look like they actually work and has really boosted the outer appearance of our home.
