Nice looking shutter, we needed an extra for a window that builder didn't put shutters on for some reason, this was an exact match. Only negative would be it doesn't come with caps to cover the screws so we just kind of painted over the screws so they wouldn't be so obvious.

These were a great value, compared to other online stores and retail stores, especially with the free shipping offer. And they were delivered within 5 days of ordering. The only negative is they don't come with the Easy-Lok fasteners and didn't realize this until after I received the shutters. They come with color coordinated screws. So I had to purchase the Easy-Loks separately after the fact and thereby delayed my shutters being installed. Other than that the product is great and they look great on the house.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JBravado They are made out of plastic and they look like plastic.
I bought the shutters online and I knew they were made of plastic, but I figured I was paying a decent amount for them and they would not really look like plastic shutters once installed. But, I was wrong, after they were installed and from a little distance, they still look like plastic shutters.
The installation was not difficult, but it would have been good if some holes were provided as to where to screw them in. If holes were provided, the holes could have been countersunk to hide the head of the screw. The painters installed ours and they were inconsistent in where they added the screws, so work looks shoddy- but this is not the fault of the shutters.
For what the shutters are I think the quality is fine, although I think if the plastic was thicker, they would have been less flimsy and would had a better feel and look to them.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by rainman I recommend this product
Product is lightweight plastic, but I feel it will be durable enough to withstand the elements. The appearance is great. You can't really tell they aren't wood unless you really examine from a close distance, maybe 15 feet or closer. Price wasn't great when you are talking about a piece of plastic, but its probably fair. Happy with the purchase thus far. With zero experience, it took me about 3 hours to install 3 pairs of shutters into our brick home. The majority of that time was drilling holes and measuring.

These shutters are so light, they seem a little flimsy. But once installed, they do NOT look flimsy at all. We got the shutters in "black" and they look terrific against our sandstone-colored steel siding!

Shutters seemed to be a good deal, but they are very cheaply made. Think of the cheap white plastic chairs you put on your deck and you get the idea.
Once up, they look OK, but I wonder if they will blow off once the first high wind comes by.
These would be worth about $20 a pair - about the price of 2 deck chairs. $68 is way too much.

Very cheap materials. Very wobbly. No good instructions on screw placement. Next time I will spend the money on real wood.
