Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by homedec It looks cheap and feels flimsy, even little tykes backyard play structures are better built than this.
The shutters very light and thin plastic, it will not stand any weather conditions or even drilling a screw it in, I feel. Returning it!

Lightweight and very easy to install. A variety of sizes allowed us to match the sizes of our upper and lower story windows. The color highlights our new roof and they look great!

Easy to install. Would have appreciated tips about wetting the masonry bit before installing into brick, but otherwise, they look great and were simple to install.

These shutters look really nice and were very easy to install onto a house that has vinyl siding. They are much harder to install if replacing existing shutters into a house with brick or stucco exterior and you are trying to reuse the existing holes in brick/stucco. Trick here is to not take down the existing shutters until you are ready to install the new ones, and then only do one shutter at a time, using the old one as a pattern to drill holes into the new shutter. Also, these shutters only come with plastic anchors that are great for vinyl siding, but you need to purchase masonry screws extra if planning on installing into brick or stucco.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Isabelle poor communication
Our shutters arrived with the box and shutters damaged. I returned them on August 9th. The vendor received them on the 11th. They did not notify HomeDepot.com which is separate. I called on August 22nd. because I had received no acknowledgement that it had been received. It was returned UPS.
After being put on hold I was told I would receive my payment in 5-7 more days.
It was our first time using Homedepot.com and unfortunately the last.

They only provided 20 fasteners for 4 shutters. I needed 24 and determined this halfway through the installation. I called customer service and let them know. They said they would notify the supplier. I went to the local stores to see they had fasteners. They did, but none in white and I needed white. I didn't hear from customer service so I bought a bag on Ebay for $10 delivered. Those came in 2 days and I was able to finished the installation. 3 days later I got a package of fasteners in the mail from the supplier without any communication.
Installation was fairly easy. It's not obvious which is the top and bottom of the shutter. There's only a 1" difference in the top and bottom panels and one could easily install a shutter upside down. 2 of the shutters were skewed slightly on the edges and resisted a flush installation against the window. However, I was able to force them to fit by holding them tight during fastening. The shutters are very flimsy.
With all that said, they do look nice and they have improved the look and curb appeal of the house.
