Shutters installed easily. Best bet is to lay the old shutter over the new one and drill the same holes. Only advice is to try and manage the length of the pins. The original installers may have cut the pins short if there was a stud or brick behind them. My advice would be to try and save the old pins and cut the new ones if needed. Others wise they will just bend and leave you frustrated.

Overall, very pleased with the shutters. Installation didn't take long, about 15-20 mins, but only because we were trying to make sure we had them level. My only issue was trying to decide on a color based on what they showed on the website. I had narrowed it down to Classic Blue and Midnight Blue. They look nearly identical on the website, so I took a gamble and went with the Classic Blue. I am pleased with the end result; however, they are not a bright blue, they are definitely darker and closer towards navy, which is what I was going for. I can only imagine how dark the Midnight Blue would have been.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by blueyork Great looking shutters, DIFFICULT installation!
Would recommend ONLY because what other choices are there? While these are great looking shutters, they are a tad on the flimsy side, but that is to be expected with simple plastic.
Not sure if they would be a lot more simple to install if I had a wooden house, but I do not. Trying to install these into a Florida stucco house is a complete NIGHTMARE. ESPECIALLY using the ridiculous plastic pegs that come with the product. First of all they do not give you ANY extras! So if you happen to bend them while struggling to place them into the drilled stucco, (Which WILL happen) you are out of luck and must purchase an entire new bag of them! Second, drilling into your stucco house is the equivalent of "working on the rail road, all the live long day"! Don't even bother if you don't have a special "hammer" drill. I had to redrill EVERY hole because the stupid plastic pegs kept bending, then the drilled holes became OVER drilled, so now the plastic pegs keep sliding OUT every other day!
Do your self a favor if installing these on a stucco house... HIRE A HANDY MAN!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Homeowner Make sure installation is RIGHT SIDE UP!
These shutters look good. Although they are lightweight coming out of the box and might seem flimsy but they feel solid and strong once installed. My only complaint is that the packaging does not indicate there is a top and bottom to the shutter so we initially installed one incorrectly and needed to replace a whole pair as a result. The difference between upside down and right side up is subtle. Unless you look closely, they appear to be the same either way so it didn't occur to any of the team members installing ours that there was a "proper" direction until it was too late.

I had to replace a shutter due to wind blew one off - and away! These matched perfectly to the other 10yrs old shutters. had to take the others down to repaint them to match the new due to fading.

My handyman installed for me and didn't appear to have any trouble. However, the shutter anchors were not all included, but were replaced quickly and my credit credited with a 10% rebate on my original purchase for my trouble of having to have the handyman come back once they arrived. Great customer service which I have shared with many!
