Customer Questions & Answers

can you paint existing blocks of vinyl siding for lighting when having your house resided?

Asked by: Anonymous
If the house is being resided, I suggest you purchase the color you want in the first place. Painting opens you up to maintenance which vinyl siding is there to reduce. If you feel you must paint, check with the manufacturers (both vinyl siding and paint) before you begin. A number of paints are not compatible with vinyl, and some paint will not cure properly over certain caulking compounds.
