Customer Reviews

Large Recessed Mounting Block #123-White is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Install with siding, not after. The mounting block is nicely made. It should last at least as long as the siding. It is a snap to install while installing the siding, with its two piece design. There is a base piece that goes on while installing the siding, and a trim piece that goes on afterwards. There is enough of a lip on the trim piece to cover miner problems when cutting the siding around it. Installing after the siding is up is possible, but difficult. You have to remove extra siding so you can get at the mounting feet, and put it back after mounting the base. You might be better off with a surface mount base for existing installations.
