I was pleasantly surprised at how fast this drill bit bored into concrete compared to the bit that came with the SDS drill. I needed a long bit and this certainly did the job very well.

Just finished a backyard fire-pit project made from cinder blocks. I needed to drill some holes in the bottom row of blocks to allow some air in for ventilation.
Found this drill bit online, went to Home Depot, they had it in stock at a better price than the internet.
Drilled 8 holes in the blocks, worked like a charm, and this was without using a hammer drill.
I am very pleased with the price and quality.... thanks again Home Depot!

The drill bit worked in concrete like a dream. I used it with a cordless De Walt drill. No problems.

I had a hard time getting through a paver that I was flying through with a competitors bit. It only got the second star because even though it took for ever. It did eventually do what I needed it to.

Purchased this "masonry" bit to drill through concrete. One hole and it was done. We were not sure of the depth of the foundation, which is why we purchased this length, but the slab was only about 5 inches deep. First hole was really great - spot on 5/8ths. Second hole was 1/2 inch. Very disappointed that bosch would make a drill bit specifically for a hammer drill that would not hold up to being used in a hammer drill. Perhaps it was defective.... I don't know. Taking it back to request a refund because, in my opinion, this thing should last for more than one hole regardless.
