Answer:
Bamboo flooring comes in a variety of types and some are MUCH harder then others. As a result we can't recommend this machine to cut bamboo in general but we have found that some types cut quite well with the machine. If the bamboo is lightweight it is more likely less dense and will cut just fine. If it is heavier and labeled as "Strand Woven Bamboo" it is more likely to have a high amount of resin Read More

Answer:
You can use this model to cut vinyl siding but the # 220 EZ Shear is a better choice as it is designed specifically for cutting siding products (vinyl siding, fibercement siding, OSB siding etc.) and includes a wider opening to slide the siding through, thicker cut capacity allowing it to cut trim products and includes mounting brackets so you can easily attach it to your saw stand or table.

Answer:
Yes, this cutter works great on race deck, sport deck and PVC garage tiles. This model will cut a 45-degree angle on 12x12 tile products as well.

Answer (1)

Answer:
The machine is designed to create a square cut on the board that remains on the table. The piece that drops off (salvage piece) will have a slight bevel so it may need to be retrimmed usually to start a row.
To check if your blade is installed correctly simply confirm that the flat side of the blade is facing the table.
