$5050 /each

Product Overview

The 7.25 in. CenterFire Foam Blade cleanly slices EPS, XPS and Poly-ISO and eliminates over 95% of static foam dust. Cut rigid foam to size without making a mess. The dust free foam cutting line of CenterFire blades will keep the "snowman" (and Blueman and Pinkman) away. Improved for 2015, these blades are now even more effective with a high tech ceramic coating. This coating, developed for advanced firearms and performance engines, reduces the force needed to push the blade through foam and practically eliminates foam residue & dust, making your job that much easier. Winner of the Pro Tool Innovation Awards for 2014 and now 2015!

Questions & Answers

How thick of a rigid foam can this 7.25" blade cut

Can I use this 7.25" Centerfire Foam Cutting blade on table saw and can this 7.25" blade cut a 2" rigid foam on the table saw? I have a craftsman table saw.
Asked by: Rakesh
The 7.25 blade is intended to be used with a hand circular saw and it won't cut to a 2" depth. For your needs you will want the 10" blade which is to be used with a table saw. You will find it at Home Depots web site.

7.25 in. CenterFire Foam Cutting Blade is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spinning razor. Imagine a spinning razor. Super sharp and well intended for foam cutting application. I used recently in cutting some foam board being used in an insulation application. There were clean and straight cuts without the loss of material associated with a knife. Very accurate in it's application. i would say this is a blade that is super sharp and require being covered when not in use. I immediatly remove the blade and re-guard it after use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not being covered in foam dust is nice If you have a lot of foam to cut and don't want to be covered in foam dust this is the way to go. Yeah the blades are a bit pricey, but you will probably never need to buy another blade to cut foam again. The cuts are smooth and there is very little dust when cutting compared to typical circular saw blade. There really are not any teeth on this blade, it has what looks like knife edges. It slices more than cuts through the foam. Cutting is easy, but on cutting thicker foam you have to be careful that the blade does not bind and kick. Cutting against a straight edge makes it easier than free handing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it is a bullet Cuts 2 in insulation like butter. I had to cut the ridged foam board to fit the rim joist cavities and the blade made it easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faster than a speeding bullet! Oh MAN does this speed up foam cutting! I had THREE separate projects where I needed of but BIG chunks of rigid foam, so I invested... WORTH it! It neatly cuts through foil backing on rigid insulating foam without ripping the backing to shreds. You can use a straight edge with this blade in your circ saw just like you would for any other long straight ripping operation. The blade design automatically reduces dust, and if you have a dust port on your saw you can keep irritating foam dust to a minimum. This thing actually makes a previously dreary chore into FUN!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent blade for cutting rigid foam This blade is great for cutting rigid foam - works better than I expected. Clean smooth cuts with minimal dust. Probably obvious, but if you move the saw too slow the heat of the blade can burn the foam which leaves a burnt plastic smell on the edge of the foam. If you keep moving through the cut then this isn't an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the ticket to stay confetti free This specialty blade lives up to it's claims; it is very effective at cutting foam board without creating confetti. The cutting edges have been staying sharp so it's hard to know how long this blade will last. And respect the warnings that come with the blade to avoid misalignment. This blade has no kerf so it's pretty fussy about staying on the line. If you have a saw that you can dedicate to this blade and do more than occasional foam board cutting, it's worthwhile to own this blade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great blade for foam I was happy to try this blade out on foam insulation board. I make a lot of foam plugs, and I found this blade very handy, and quick for cutting strips to laminate. I also used it to cut down foam panels for my garage door insulation. I installed it in my Bosch 7 1/4" saw, and it made the job of cutting foam very quick. Just make sure to allow the foam pieces to buldge out, the thickness of this blade, or it can tear the material. Don't force it. Works great. I recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for cutting foam sheets. I am installing foam board on my basement wall. Because I have an old basement that is only 7' tall, I have to cut every sheet. I have used a plywood blade to cut foam in the past. This is OK if you are only making a couple of cuts, but it does create a mess. Not with this blade. It is almost like cutting it with a knife, but much faster. You generate almost no dust, and get a nice, clean cut. No more jagged edges! Because I need a lot of the same length sheet, I built a jig that gives me a nice straight edge to run the saw along. No measuring or snapping lines. The job went quicker then I expected, and cleanup was easy!
