Answer:
You'll need to use a pull bar to fit tongue and groove/click flooring together when there isn't room to use a tapping block.
1) Hook the wide angle iron piece of the pull bar over the edge of the plank, toward the wall, and pull it tight against the edge.
2) Hammer with a rubber mallet against the block opposite the angle iron until the plank moves into place.

Hardwood tongue and groove floors require heavier pounding, maybe with a steel hammer. This pullbar has a pry-bar end too, which could help align flooring around door jambs etc. Read Less

The Heavy Duty Flooring Pull Bar hooks over the end of the last board and allows you to drive it into place by hammering on the steel block at the other end of the pull bar.
The angled end of the bar comes to a point and can be used in place of a crow bar to pry enough space between the wall and your last board so that the hook end will fit into place. Read Less

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pull Bar Great tool to have with the installation of any laminate May 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by solid built This flooring pulling bar is made very solid. I am using it to install 3/4 inch solid hardwood flooring. There is a problem because the flat piece of steel on the end for pulling is higher than 3/4" by a good bit so the bar won't sit flat on top of the installed hardwood flooring. Also, this product was shipped direct from the manufacturer and took a very long time to arrive. The heavy felt piece on the bottom did a decent job protecting the installed flooring ... but the bar is at an angle and doesn't sit flat as I said above. March 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Worked fine until it started to bend. After using for about an hour the tool began to bend. HD replacing. March 26, 2014
