Can't go wrong with this. I put it out as an extra treat and it's usually the first pick.
Many varieties seem to enjoy this and there's no mess at all.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DMBackyardBirder Birds Love These Nuggets
I feed squirrels as well as birds. But, the Nuggets are especially appreciated by the Wrens and Woodpeckers who come to the feeders. My squirrels eat bird seed and nuts from dishes on the ground. I have seen other small birds on the feeders as well but primarily I am feeding Wrens and Woodpeckers. Love the product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by makettle Birds love it, reasonably priced and relatively neat
I love this product. It attracts all sorts of birds including titmice, wrens, cardinals, goldfinch, house finches, and several varieties of woodpeckers. Unfortunately it also attracts squirrels, who as with anything they can get ahold of, will eat it all. The pellets are relatively clean, don't really melt and are not all greasy like suet blocks. The holder they make for these is a little flimsy, so after the squirrels destroyed it we bought another brand that has a better cap and is more sturdy. These are great for year round feeding and you don't have to use a feeder, you can put the pellets out on their own or w/seed. The only problem is trying to find them. They show them on them on the Home Depot page online, but you can't order them, and they're never in stock in the store. If they kept them I stock, they're reasonably priced and a good product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Opus Excellent value, attracts many birds and squirrels.
Since using this product many species of birds including a roving band of Lutino parakeets have been visiting my front yard. The birds obviously enjoy the nuggets as they let us know when it’s empty by perching in front of our window and making a racket. We supplement the nuggets with hull-less wild bird mix and sunflowers grown in our rear garden.
Select your feeder well as squirrels are also very fond of the nuggets and will empty an unprotected feeder in no time at all. The squirrels do provide a cleanup service for any nuggets that the birds drop so there’s no debris on the ground caused by this product.
The pricing on this product at Home Depot is low in comparison to other local stores and the internet when just S&H can sometimes exceed the Depots product price. Very good value all things considered.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sue55 Easy Feeding
I mix this product with shelled peanuts and place into a wire mesh peanut feeder. I have 2 feeders of this kind, along with year round suet and one small sunflower seed feeder. The nuggets last a long time and stand up to extreme heat and thundershowers. Two varieties of Woodpeckers, Bluejays, Cardinals, Chickadees, Carolina Wrens, Sparrows and a Titmouse family frequent these feeders with the peanut nuggets. They are easy to use and do not make a mess on me or below the feeder.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Food4Birds PRODUCT MOLDY
I am sorry to say that this product in both bags of this item
are moldy. I have put them aside to return this week.
After getting these from Home Depot, I was able to find some at another retailer.
I suspected that the cloudy covering on the nuggets was mold; and, when I bought
the other bag, I knew that was so. Disappointing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by argantan Good value and great food for the birds
I am so glad that there is this alternative to provide the wild birds that come over to my feeders. I used to put the suet cakes out but there is a large animal that comes in the night taking it down and destroying it. This is a great alternative, plus the birds love it. They come and go and I am assured of their protein needs. Thank you for making this available.
