The lamp looks good and can fill a room with light. It seems well-made but the center three-way socket on mine was damaged, apparently before packing as the box showed no damage. I don't need it to be a three-way light right now but I figure I can replace the socket if I decide to in the future. The color is somewhat darker than I expected. It looks like murky coffee to me.

We like the classic look of this lamp. We only had two issues.
1. The directions were a bit confused about the bulbs needed. ( You need 4 bulbs all with the standard base.) A single 3-way type-A bulb. And 3 type-A bulbs 40 watts - 60 watt bulbs.
2. while I'd say the overall quality is high, there is one issue. The central pipe is made out of 3 sections. It seems that the alignment was off a bit and the lamp has a a bit of a curve.
The base is solid and the lamp is very stable.
Even with the curvature we still like this lamp and chose not to return it. We put it in a corner where the curvature is not very noticeable
We used all LED bulbs to make it very energy efficient.
There are two switches. The upper switch controls the center 3-way bulb. And the lower switch controls the 3 smaller bulbs. The lower switch allows you turn one, two , three bulbs or none of the smaller bulbs. This give you a wide range of possible light levels.
Other than the slight curve this lamp has exceeded our expectations and is an excellent value.
I lowered the ease of installation because in the box one paper said that I needed type-a bulbs and said type-b. Screwing the parts together was simple and unlike all of the cheap floor lamps I've bought in the past, the base will not strip (unless you cross-thread it). And the central pole is solid and will not lean.

The lamp itself is very attractive but the shade looks cheap.
