I feel this was a heck of a deal. I opened the outside box and there was a ton of screws in the box. It was like they threw in extra screws in the box. The product seems to be a real good product. Maybe wish I would have bought a 3" long screw knowing that I used 2"x6" boards instead of the 5/4 deck boards for my deck. They were sufficient, but would have been nice to have a bit more screw in the joist.

I just did my first install with the Camo product and it is a winner. I have used various hidden fastener systems before and this was very easy, consistent and no stripped screws. Faster than the Kreg system since there is not pre drill.
The deck I installed was soft wood (Alaskan Yellow Cedar) so I would probably need to pre drill if it was hard wood decking. I recently installed 2 decks with hidden fasteners for composite decking and this was a lot easier and cleaner looking in the end. I will have do do some experiments with the leftover composite but for soft wood this is a great solution.

I installed over 1000 sq ft of decking using the camo deck screws and used the camo marksman pro tool. After been installed for less than one month the screws started snapping in half. Now most of my decking is loose and needs to be removed and a proper fastener system used. I have tried to contact the company that makes them but they will not return phone calls or emails. Don't waste your money like I did.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by junker2 well not convinced but may be good for composites and pine
I installed a 25 x 20 deck with angelium pedra 12" on center and used the camo system. This deck gets a lot of sun and in the evening we started hearing popping sounds randomly. Turns out the the dense wood was trying to twist and while it did this the camo screws were either just snapping or pulling through the wood. What a waste of$$$. Only why to fix the deck was to use the proplug system by drilling and plugging from the top then sand. I would NOT recommend these screws for all hardwoods.

I have used these on two decks, one 2x4 cedar and one 2x6 cedar. The gaps are uniform and the design of the screws suck the boards down tight. Went through an entire box of 1750 using the same bit on each deck with no problem. I did notice that on occasion, the Marksman tool wasn't flat on the board which resulted in the screw not going in right but learned to check it before screwing. No problems. I'll use them again when I replace my sister's deck.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DocNTex Great deck screw
The Camo deck screws are a really great innovation and work very well with 2x6 treated pine. When placed, they are virtually invisible. The quality of these screws is very high and I do recommend their use even if it is a DIY project.

Works great on the 5/4 cedar deck boards with yellow wood joists. The description needs to suggest what length of screws to use and if bits are included with the product. It the screws are ordered online, packing tape needs to be wrapped around the container to keep the lid on during shipping. I have installed about 700 screws with 1 bit and haven't stripped the the bit or a screwhead
