Product Overview

The CAMO Edge Deck Fastening System works on any treated lumber, hardwood, cedar, composite or PVC deckboard. CAMO Edge Fasteners, a CAMO Marksman tool, and CAMO Driver Bits combine to deliver a fastener-free deck surface at a price that makes getting the job easy and installing the deck even easier. The CAMO Edge Deck Fastening System is engineered to work exclusively together. Using other branded tools, fasteners or bits will impair performance and not produce the desired results.

  • Patent-pending CAMO Marksman Pro-X1 positions CAMO edge fasteners for side-angle entry to the deckboard to create a fastener-free deck surface
  • Automatic 1/16 in. spacing on the front spacer and the rear spacer
  • Provides a narrower gap that is ideal for installing wood deckboards
  • Fits any 5-1/4 in. to 5-3/4 in. deckboards
  • Dual screw guides fasten both sides of the board with single tool placement
  • Clamping action grips the deckboard
  • Heavy-duty, contractor-grade tool

It was designed for installing composite or PVC deck boards where a larger gap is required by the deck board manufacturer. It can also be used with treated lumber or soft woods such as cedar in the event you would prefer a larger gap. The final spacing option is a zero gap which can be achieved by using the CAMO Edge Tool (#0345020). This is ideal for installing treated lumber, particularly wet treated lumber that is going to shrink as it dries. This tool can also be used with secondary spacers in the event you would prefer to gap your deck boards.

Yes, the CAMO Hidden Deck Fastening System can be used with 2x6 decking. The Marksman Pro-X1 tool is designed to fit most nominal 6" wide deck boards (those boards measuring 5-1/4" to 5-3/4" wide). Customer Reviews

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product, great look excellent system, you have to use the Camo screws, but it's a great way to get a nearly concealed fastener without proprietary clips. I was using 5/4 cedar decking and the 1 5/8" stainless fasteners worked well. It's a fast install with the spacers built in. You don't have to lean on or apply pressure to the handle, I can see where it would fail if you do. Highly recommended. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Must use this tool! This tool not only worked well, but it saved me from drilling over 700 pilot holes. I love that you do not see screws. I used this tool for a new deck, used 2x6 boards, make sure you get the 2 5/8 screws June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is a slick deal I really enjoyed using this. Worked just like it said it would, and sure made spacing the deck boards easier. Hid the fasteners really well. July 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I bought two guns with 1/8 and 1/4 In. spacers. Both guns do what manufacturer promised. Great job CAMO! May 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Do it yourselfer's best friend This tool made my decking super straight and beautiful without any visable screws. Everyone comments on how nice it looks. It was also a breeze to operate and a one man show made it a snap. You simply load the screws and the bit is the perfect length to sink the screw andyou can't oversink even if you tried. The tool makes it easier for one person to keep the tension on the board as well because it holds the screw in perfect postion. April 30, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Product Great tool for the spacing of each deck board. Easy tool to use for the DIY handy person. August 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Really like this tool which makes deck planking look nice and smooth like a floor should look. I don't like to see the screw heads on a deck and really hate to see nails, so this product really suited my needs. July 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Tool This little guy works great. I've used this to build two decks so far. July 7, 2015
