Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good long cable for any use. When you need a longer hdmi cable for a wall mount TV this is a good choice. May 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by POSITIVE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SPECS ON BOX AND TRUE CAPABILITIES Disclaimer: I purchased a 2 pack of 6 foot and 8 foot cables, not the single 6 foot cable. The product I purchased is also the "Standard" version, has the same description on the box, and the cable connectors and wire wrap look exactly the same. I assume they are the same product. I did test the 6 foot cable. Works for 1080p!!! No significant differences between the "standard", "Deluxe" and "Premium" versions of these cables. Read full review to see why. The package states it only works for 720p and 1080i (30 frames per second instead of the 60 frames per second available with 1080p). I can assure you that the data rate capabilities on this cable are sufficient for the 60 fps available with 1080p video sources. I've connected this to the graphics card on my computer and tested both the 1080i and 1080p settings using a site called TestUFO. The results show that the cable is capable of 1080p. The description of the product on the Home Depot website says that these cables are also capable of 3D and 4k signals. I have not tried either of these as I do not have a TV that is capable of displaying either of these. The package does not say anything about these capabilities. The bottom line: All HDMI cables are basically the same now. 1080i doesn't really exist anymore for displays, so manufacturers have no reason to keep separate stocks in their warehouses. They simply change the plastic connectors on the end and sometimes wrap the wires differently, but they cables do the same job. Based on the product description on the Home Depot website, these cables are capable of: 1080p, 3D and 4k signals. Home Depot also states that these cables support up to 10.2Gbps data rate. The box states that the cables have built in Ethernet (100 Mbps) as well. Based on these combined specs, it appears that this is a HDMI 1.4 cable. Check out the following page from the official HDMI organization website. Some reviews state that these cables do not have an audio return channel. This is not true, and in fact impossible. The official HDMI onganization website states that "All HDMI cables will support Audio Return Channel functionality when connected to Audio Return Channel-enabled devices." I can only assume that the display or device being connected to is were not configured properly, or the cable was defective for that customer. Hope this helped someone out. I was seriously considering spending $15 on a single "Deluxe" 6 foot cable from Home Depot because I was worried it would not support 1080p. Happy that I took the chance and actually tested it out and did some digging on the official HDMI organization site, and happy that I looked at the product description on the Home Depot site which describes broader device support than the box does. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely Necessary HDMI cables are a necessary part of life in today's world. This one works great for a great price! March 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent And Durable This cord is perfect for its intended use. We had an issue with one of our televisions and subscriber boxes. It used a smaller 12 inch HDMI cord and it would make the screen flicker from time to time as though it was not connected. I had tried everything for it and the only remedy was to jiggle and wiggle the wire until I got this product. With this product, I unfurled the cord to the desired length, plugged it into both locations and no more flickering! Yay for us. Unless you have had this issue, you will not understand the annoyance it had in our home! This is a great product. December 8, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by UNLESS I am missing something, I learned a lesson My son has ALWAYS talked me into buying EXPENSIVE HDMI cables when we got new TV's etc. Personally, while I can see the difference on the TV's. I DON'T see ANY difference between this "bargin" brand and the expensive brands I needed this one for a spare bedroom TV and a NEW TV… Folks… No Need to GIVE your money away because of a "name" May 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by needed for Netflix my niece who attends college, couldn't get Netflix without hooking her tv to her computer. so I purchased this hdmi cable. she said it did the trick. Netflix is up and running. September 30, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reasonable price for retail, fine functional product. This cable works just fine, and was priced reasonably - which is rare for retail. Most other brick and mortar stores sell similar products a several times the cost for no additional value. Was happy to find this product priced closer to what I'd find online, and an easy 10 minute drive from home. Good service following an online order for in-store pickup. January 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does the Job This has good connectors and pliant cable so it is easy to work with and it makes a solid connection. You really cannot ask for more! I recommend it! August 30, 2014
