Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by All trash I purchased 2 - 10 pack bags of these and all of them ended up in the trash. I had a customer that needed a network fast so I had to grab some of these since my normal distributor wasn't open. When I plugged in a cable the securing latch doesn't hold the cable in tight, this allows the cable to pull out and twist causing a wiring fault and loss of connection. I used multiple cables, Black Box, Leviton and even a cable I made with the CE Tech ends, all failed. These jacks were trash several years ago with the poor wire connections now it's the basic clip. I'll make sure I get plenty quality jacks from my normal distributor from now on. January 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Makes the connection, but watch the wallplate fit A few years ago, I bought a similar product and had difficultly making a good cat 5 ethernet connection. I had to discard them at the time. However, no worries this time. They have fixed any issues. These make the connection and do it well. 100mb links I have running are fine with no errors. The included punch down tool does the trick. It doesn't have to be fancy. Keep in mind the tool will be disposed of after the 10 connectors are done though. I want to discuss size a bit. See attached photo which compares a 15 year old version to this one. It is much smaller, and that's mostly good because it leaves more room in the box for your connections. However, there is a small sacrifice in that the clips don't snap as well into faceplates as other brands. It does snap in, but the fit isn't as tight as I would like. But in any event, it seems to be holding OK. February 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I needed... Doing a little networking in my new house... Great product February 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent jacks These work well overall for the job intended and I haven't experienced any problems with them. August 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OK Value For The Price These connectors work if your are on a budget. We normally use Panduit or ICC or equivalent. We needed some in a pinch and purchased these. They worked well, no issues. August 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No worse than any other. RJ-45 jacks are just a pain to wire, period. These gave me gigabit speeds on 100+ foot runs of CAT5e in 11 out of 12 jacks because I was very careful with the jack wiring. Instructions should be better written, but there are plenty of instructions online. Don't untwist if you don't have to, keep the wires close to each other, and clip the ends off close. Product did its job. January 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best I have found I have used another brand of these and they were a lot harder to follow than these. Plus these were easier to punch down and didn't break like the other brand. February 17, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor substitute for Leviton Inserts do not fit SMJ biscuits and pop out if used. They also are inconsistent with wire openings not allowing a punch tool to properly seat the wire. February 10, 2015
