Product Overview

CE TECH's new, patented Flexible Opening Cable Wall Plate is used to install Low-Voltage cables behind your flat panel TV, your amplifier or other audio video devices. The flexible opening of the cable plate allows you to pass Low-Voltage cables through the wall, while keeping the opening in the wall covered. There is no need to purchase a mounting plate or old work ring for installation. Mounting wings are molded into the back of the cable plate and fasten securely and easily to the back of the drywall.

  • Hide up to 6 Low-Voltage cables behind your flat panel TV
  • Perfect for eliminating connections at wall; allows Low-Voltage cables (such as HDMI and RG6 coax) to avoid unnecessary connections that disrupt signal quality
  • Low profile design of the cable plate with flexible opening works perfectly with the industry's thinnest mounts and TV's
  • Flexible center of the cable plate keeps the opening in the wall covered and helps to hold cables in place
  • Mounting wings make for a quick and simple installation
  • No additional parts necessary

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works as expected This product has a plastic cover plate and does not have a back box. December 29, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice wire plate Was easy to install. Only issue was when screwing to secure the cover, the tabs are weak and they can break. One of the tabs broke and had to go back to Home Depot and exchange for a new one. Made sure I did not over tighten the next time. Also, the opening required to install the plate is larger than a wall box opening. October 13, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bites the dust This product is good idea but cheaply made. I was putting it behind my new wall mounted flat screen to hide the wires. The first went up without a hitch, the second's tabs broke during install. As I went to the tv to position the wires, a little light tugging and the first also broke its tabs and came out the wall. Just so you know...I've rewired my house, have done two bathroom renovations from the ground up, a complete kitchen renovation, etc etc (basically redone my entire house except for the roof. I buy most of my products from home depot so it's not like I'm out to bad mouth them, but this product is not worth your time or effort. Get something else June 30, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap materials I purchased two of these and both of them broke on install. After the first one broke, I was very cautious with the second but it snapped anyway. The bracket that is supposed to hold the plate behind the drywall doesn't hold securely and when I tightened it carefully it broke... I would not recommend this product August 31, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by cable limitations After installation it performs well, but it is not a wall plate. The entire assembly has to be removed from the drywall for access causing damage each time and always creates the possibility of not being able to reinstall in the wall. A wall plate and low volt box is more reliable. June 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Neat way to run a COUPLE of cables Easy to install. Please note that this item is meant for mounting straight into drywall/cutout. If there is any existing box or anything already in the drywall, this item will not work as the mounting hardware is attached to the plate itself. Also the opening is really only large enough to run a couple of HDMI cables. June 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product!!! Very good product. Makes nice clean looking installation for low voltage cabling(HDMI, USB) July 7, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Plate works well if you just have a few cables This plate has a flexible vinyl insert with an "X" cut in the center and works well if you are only pulling 1 to 3 wires through it. More than that, such as in my situation where I attempted to use it behind a wireless router with 5 wires caused the flexible insert to start pulling out, dislodging itself from the retainer plate. I opted to replace it with another manufacturers plate which uses a brush-like insert. It worked much better and enclosed around the wires with a better seal. February 10, 2015
