2000 ft. Self-Leveling Horizontal/Vertical Rotating Laser Level Kit (10-piece) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very satisfied. Easy to set up & use. Self leveling and ADS vibration shutoff. Very versatile ... Very satisfied. Easy to set up & use. Self leveling and ADS vibration shutoff. Very versatile with single slope angle and vert / horiz functionality. Good durable construction. Sturdy case. Sturdy aluminum tripod and 3 level stick. Convenient carrying strap. Remote control is good for hibernation of head unit to save batteries, but does not have much range (maybe 35') and has to be directly in front of head unit. I acquired the RD5 receiver. It has a 45 degree tolerance when facing head unit. The RD1 seemed to have low tolerance to angularity with head unit. RD5 also has readout on back. RD1 has individual lights to indicate high or low when looking at level bubble on back. Both have tight and wide tolerance settings and beeps indicating high or low. RD5 has volume control. I would give it a 5, but have to ding a point for RD1 and limited range remote control.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As expected This laser worked as expected. Great line of sight tool. Visually not much help in sunlight but the remote receiver works well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! This self-leveling laser package is great! The tripod comes with a strap to keep it closed, while the rest of the equipment is held in a solid durable case. It comes with a laser detector, remote, wall mount, leveling rod, laser target, laser glasses, & batteries. The equipment itself seems very durable. The setup is very easy & quick. Although I have not tested the accuracy of this, it is supposed to be accurate to within 3/32" at 2000 feet. It has an alert if the laser drifts off the set benchmark. It also has a variety of laser visibility enhancements.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More Than I Need I'm reviewing the CST/berger Model RL25HVCK [that's the kit complete with all the accessories and hard case]. For outdoor work, this is a big step up from the optical transit I've been using for 35 years. I maintain a private cemetery and I'm called on about three times a year to mark off and open graves; considering there are 18 discrete family plots plus a 'paupers' field', it's important that it done right. What used to take me four hours now is accomplished in under an hour ... one man. But it's still overkill and a luxury. In the past year, I've done a "one-off" for a friend building a detached 6-bay garage. I figure I saved him some sleep and a $1000 by hiring a pro. This is really the 'sweet spot' for a unit as capable as this. Recently, I've used the unit indoors to align six tiers of shelving in a 26 x 40 garage ... a total of more than 600' of wire mesh shelving; establishing the waterlines was so easy. Again, overkill but a nice luxury. Since my uses aren't demanding for accuracy, it seems the accuracy is within the 3/32" at 100' [0.008%]. If you extrapolate that to 2000' [something I'll never need], it comes to 2" ... which wouldn't be horrible if you were aligning the tops of fence posts! I'm not hard on my equipment so I can't comment how long this unit would last if I tossed the tripod and loaded case in the the back of my truck and rambled down a dirt road to a construction site. But for me, I can see this thing surviving forever. The "drift" alert feature is neat. Overall, a good deal for a pro who doesn't need surgical precision and will treat it with respect; and overkill for DIYers who wish they had more projects on the schedule which could benefit from it.
