The perfect solution to hide low voltage wire for my deck lights. Searched forever for a pro-looking solution and then found these hiding with the other LV accessories. Fits all sizes of landscape wire. I ended up cutting off the fixture connectors (way too big) and hard wiring. If you have any basic skills with a soldering iron, its a reasonably easy job. That way the entire connection will fit into the channel & you can have a smooth strip of this channeling that looks fantastic. To achieve that I suggest staggering the two solder point connections per fixture, a half inch or so apart so they don't bulk up to fit them in. Only downside & reason I give 4 stars is that they are very expensive. 25x16 deck needed over $100 of this product, but in the end the ease of using these was worth it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JP Great quality -- not 6 feet..
Great for LED tape lighting. The product is actually two 36" sections, not one 72" (6ft) section.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by terry Key product for led strips
If you plan to install led strips, do not depend on using the sticky side of the led strip to attach to whatever surface you have underneath, use this pvc channel, the perfect size and will also protect the LED strips. Installation becomes very fast. Also make a straight line installation very easy. There are high end, high quality, and very expensive aluminum channels but for most of the needs this cheap, good quality pvc channel will do a perfect job.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Duke Makes neat, easy installation
Highly recommended. Makes installation neat and easy. Available in-store (at least, in my local Home Depot). Much better than double stick tape. Also available in white PVC. Search Home Depot site for 270-CABLED-A0-A1.
By the way, if you are considering the CabLED 12-foot 12-volt Landscape Lighting Kit (CAB-12LLKITHD), be aware the dimmer that comes with it reverts back to the brightest setting whenever the power is turned off and back on, such as with a timer or photoelectric cell. Same is true of the dimmer sold as a separate piece, 309-P192SM-A0-A1. OptiLED (CabLED’s parent company?) has a replacement in the works, due out near the end of 2014. OptiLED will send you a replacement if you have your receipt. Contact OptiLED at firstname.lastname@example.org to have your name put on the waiting list. If Customer Service gives you the Royal Run-Around, try email@example.com.
