CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 59 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best cabinet paint You can get I bought 2 gallons, I only used 1/2 gallon for my entire kitchen. Though I did not paint inside. The finish is amazing with a good quality brush. This paint lays off smooth. I am keeping the extra for other projects. I was never a fan of painted cabinets until I used Cabinet Coat. It looks Factory. Here is a before and after. Be sure to use a good primer and sand surfaces before applying Cabinet Coat for the best finish that will last. If you are thinking about a paint to use for your cabinets, look no more. Get Cabinet Coat. June 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great cabinet/trim enamel We purchased this enamel for refacing kitchen cabinets. Old cabinets were flat, oak color and very outdated. The key to success is in the prep work. We removed cabinet doors and cabinet boxes and sanded to remove the old finish. We added some decorative moulding on the face of the cabinet doors to provide depth. We used a total of 4 coats- we still have most of the gallon left! We replaced the old hardware and they look great! With the money we saved on cabinets, we are now working on replacing the old countertop and installing new back splash. Great product. August 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Everything they say is tru I had extra dark laminate cabinets from the 70s when we bought our home in the kitchen and several built ins throughout the house. I could not see replacing them as they matched the retro modern feel. I finished the kitchen about 3 months ago and am now working on the upstairs. For extra dark you need a minimum of 4 coats without primer. I used a sponge roller and paint brush for the edges. The paint dries super hard and the cabinets look like they came from the factory, 30 year ago:). Kitchen cabinets take a lot of abuse and they are perfect, with no nicks, scuffs, etc. Well worth the effort!! It took 1 1/3 cans with 4 coats each side to finish an entire kitchen. Highly Recommend. Follow instructions to the tee. January 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Impressive Results! Our kitchen cabinets finish material was faded and turning yellow. We sanded the doors and cleaned them as recommended by the manufacturer. I chose to do three coats with a foam roiller then the final coat with a medium nap Wooster roller and they turned out great. The cabinets look better than when they were brand new. It also done a very good job on the cabinet faces and interior surfaces as well. In total there were 31 doors and 9 drawers to do the entire kitchen. i am so happy with the results that the laundry room is geting done next! November 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great facelift So far we are halfway through our cabinet remodel, after two generous coats our dark 70s walnut cabinets are starting look great! We may need a third touch up coat, the paint is thick which is nice when trying to access crevices. Also we have about 25 cabinet doors and have used about a 1/2-2/3 of the gallon, we ordered two but will likely have enough with one. Great product thus far. Make sure you use a tack cloth after sanding to remove the debris otherwise it will taint the color and be sure to wait 24 hours before applying another coat. June 3, 2014
