I bought a foreclosed home not too long ago. The company that had rehabbed the house had painted the cabinets dark brown. The paint they used scuffed even if you touched the drawer or the cabinet.
I researched a lot of paints and this one seemed to have the best reviews.
I ordered two gallons. I had to do three coats since the original paint was so dark. Paint covers well and levels beautifully. It dried fairly fast, I was painting the cabinet doors in my garage on one of the muggiest days of the year, so that probably didn't help either. Three coats on 26 cabinet doors, 7 drawers and other visible parts of the cabinet took only one gallon. I actually returned the other gallon back to home depot.
The kitchen looks much vibrant and cabinets look much more presentable. My boss is about to paint his kitchen cabinets and after seeing my cabinets, he is talking about buying this same paint.
Would definitely highly recommend to anybody.

I used this paint to paint over combination wood /veneer cabinets which were stained black. I did several coats of primer and I also did several coats of the paint since the paint is thin. I used a power sprayer and the finished product looks very professional. I am very pleased with the results.
I did not find the paint difficult to use at all. I was very surprised how much coverage I got out of a quart. I purchased 3 qts altogether and still had some left over

Read the directions. Great paint dries fast needs two coats lightly applied or it will run.

This paint is good and clean once completely cured. If the paint surface is smooth, it will chip off with a little hit but all other surface are perfect! Love the finished product!

Did as directions said, then hung all the doors back and they scratch so easy it's ridiculous. I listened to someone's blog on pinterest to use this product...a sad a time consuming mistake indeed.

I bought a quart to paint our bathroom vanity and wall cabinet. I used a foam roller, which left a speckled texture on the surface, but it doesn't look bad. I have 1/2 a can of paint leftover after putting 3 coats on each piece. This worked great for updating our bathroom without replacing the vanity, and it wipes clean without the paint coming off. Definitely recommend for a cheaper way to revamp your cabinets. (Vanity is pressed wood, cabinet is some type of plastic material, no issues with paint sticking. The only prep work we did was cleaning the surface with a degreaser. No sanding or priming)

Good coverage without a pre-prime coating. Fast drying. Minimal brush stroke.

This product worked well, I had to do a total of 5 coats plus 2 coats of varnish to get the desired look. Took 3 coats of the cabinet enamel right on top of the wood cabinet to fully cover the wood look. I didn't do anything prior - no sanding, stripping, nothing. Then I had to do 2 coats of the color I wanted, plus 2 coats of varnish, but the end result was very good. No more wood cabinet. May have been easier and less coats if the cabinet enamel could have been colored, but the associate in the store told me it couldn't, not sure why since it was just a basic white. They also said I needed to sand and do prep work, which was not necessary. To their credit, this is not sold in the stores and as they admitted they were not familiar with the product.
