does heater blow heat and the capacity

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello and thank you for the questions! Yes, this heater definitely blows heat. It is an industrial-type, hard wire unit that has an air throw of approximately 12 feet. It also has a temperature rise of about 40 degrees Fahrenheit, meaning that the air that comes out the front will be about 40 degrees warmer than the air that goes into the back. As your space gets warmer, so does the air coming out the front of the heater. It's heating capacity is roughly 400 to 600 square feet, depending on some varying factors like the amount of insulation in your space or building, and your geographical location. We've included a link to the owner's guide here: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/39/3945e6ce-9df6-473d-9efa-53776340ffca.pdf You will also need some accessories for installation, including a thermostat and a mounting bracket for the unit, and we've included those as related items below. Thanks so much for asking!
