Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LongRunRepairs Regulates heat nice, but a tad confusing to operate.
Installation couldn't be simpler and the two sets of mounting holes were a lifesaver. Powered the unit on and it defaults to manual mode. Set the temperature and it holds it great. Programming is a bit confusing, but reading the book helps and it's worth the little bit of aggravation.

I have installed four of these in our church. They are working very well. Their instructions are not user friendly. I can usually read and I have no trouble following instructions. These instructions are something else. What they do not tell you is that there are only two temperatures that can be set; one for programs 1 & 3, and one for programs 2 & 4. These temperatures should be set before you do anything with program times. After the comfort and away/night temperatures are set, then and only then, do you set the times. The times can be made different for each day, but the temperatures must be the same each day for program 1 & 3, and 2 & 4. Temporary temps can be set which will be held until the next programed period begins.

Got this for the 120v bathroom fan heater. Has ability to mount on single box or double gang. Has no ground wire for the fixture, which is wierd. It does cycle a lot to check temp, which annoyed me when I slept, so I lowered the temp and problem solved! The other house heaters provide ample heat. I Like the display and options. Little bulky, not slim like the 240 version, which is through out the rest of the house. Would be nice to have matching units, but it will do.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by ProfessionalHandymanSvc Not Impressed I bought one that got hot and short cycled the heater after an hour of use
Bought one that worked for an hour as it should, then the thermostat got extremely hot and 240 volt heater (1500watt 240 volt forced air small wall unit) started to short cycle/ turn on and off every second tested all components and found it to be a defective thermostat. Would not recommend. I am a licensed electrician. .

The thermostat works well but the programming is difficult. Instead of entering a timetable and temp you have to program what temp the moon and sun represents.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hawker Best bet for baseboard heaters but tries to outsmart iteself
I have been searching for a programmable thermostat that could handle over 3500W for several years. This is the first one I have found that fit my needs. The price was right and I tried it.
It has some great features and great settings such as different duty cycles for forced fan vs normal base board heaters. I really like the 4 time slots, 7 day programing and easy use. It keeps my house so much more temperature stable and accurate than the mechanical thermostat it replaced but it does have two main issues I don't like.
1) It tries to outsmart itself by not over shooting the temperature but it tries too hard and as a result duty cycles are way to short for my taste. I wish it had a setting to adjust it. I set the switch to 5 min forced fan but it still gives me more like 30-60 seconds. I would rather it just turn on till it gets to temperature and then turn off with some hysteresis, even if that means over/under shooting the temperature.
2) The solid state switches that turn the unit off and on are undersized causing the unit to produce too much heat that interferes with the built in temperature gauge. On my 3500W system this equates to about 2-3 degrees of error from self heating. Larger TRIACs/MOSFETS or whatever they are or heat-sinks would have solved this issue.
On a smaller note I wish it had a back lit LED I could enable to read it in the dark.
