Answer:
I actually used the 24 inch 120 volt for an area of 3' by 6' and it works well. I put it directly over and 4 inches above the home register vent and the flow of warmth is perfect for the room. Very easy to install with the thermostat control.

Answer:
Baseboard heaters take longer to heat than wall fan heaters. Because of this, Cadet recommends a wall fan heater for the bathroom. The ideal wall fan heaters for the bathroom are the Cadet Com-Pak Bath or The Energy Plus. We have provided links below for your convenience.

Which thermostat do I need with this heater?

I noticed the requirement of a thermostat but didn't see where it said which one would work - single pole, double? I don't even know what that is. I have a wire coming out of the wall and an electrician coming soon to mount the heater. I'm supposed to have everything there for when he comes. So I have to make sure to get the right thing. Is there a unit like this one with a thermostat or switch attached to it?

Hi Lorri,
Thank you for taking the time to ask. Sorry, we don't currently offer the Cadet electric baseboards with a thermostat installed as there are quite a few choices available. Popular choices can also include wall thermostats.
To answer your immediate requirement, my recommendation is the Cadet baseboard thermostat model BTF2A. This model installs right on either end of the heater, and is a model that will cover your building code requirements at a maximum. In some parts of the country, only single pole thermostats are required so you're safe choosing the double pole.
One more thing...please have your electrician verify your available voltage! One of the most important elements to properly picking a correct heater and thermostat is knowing your voltage. Heaters hooked up to the incorrect voltage may either burn out within a day or two, or not even heat up at all, depending on incoming line voltage and the heater's voltage rating. We've included a link to our baseboard video which details different thermostat and voltage requirements.
Good luck with your project. Read Less
