I have a 36" unit, it didnt come with a cover plate for the top? I dont know why, so, where can i get it?

Asked by: JamesD
Hello, thank you for your question! The unit should come with a front cover for the heater. There is not a plate for the top of the heater as this is where the heat is distributed. If you're missing your front cover please give us a call so we can help solve this Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm Pacific time (1.855.223.3887)

I am going to put this in a 4' by 6' area outside of a shower stall. Will this unit heat that area quickly or do I need a larger unit?

Asked by: Anonymous
For the bathroom, Cadet recommends a wall fan heater instead of a baseboard heater because fan heaters provide instant warmth. The ideal heaters for the bathroom are the Cadet Com-Pak Bath or The Energy Plus. We have provided links below for your convenience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heater is ok. It works. Delivery time for this heater was very long, probably because I selected standard shipping, and it came all the way from Oregon to Virginia. The heater was well packaged for transport and was not damaged. It was easy to mount to existing wall anchors and the electrical hookup was straightforward.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cadet 30" baseboard heat Heater and thermostat are very easy to install. I had the heater in white for a number of years and went with the almond color when we redid the paint colors in the bathroom. Bathroom is 10' X 10' and it heats the room very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what we needed When an addition was added to the house many years it was intended as a pantry so it was supposed to be cool. We wanted to make living space out of it so we needed some heat. This was perfect. Installation was very easy and it keeps the area very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality unit If you're looking for a unit that doesn't flex on its own as its construction is so cheap, consider this. * Ability to easily attach to non-standard width wall studs. * Heavy duty (no flimsy) exterior * Complete instructions

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good finish, works as expected Not too much one can say about an electric baseboard heater. It works. Quality of baked on finish was good and it was nice to be able to get a heater with a non-white finish that more closely matched our walls. This was installed in a bath and I finished the lower walls with PVC beadboard. Because of the high temps of any baseboard heater I surrounded this with a 3/4 frame of rabbeted wood to avoid the possibility of the PVC melting due to the heat.
