Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dnvrguy1 Inexpensive but not the choice
The choice to go with is a more energy efficient heater that looks similar but uses a encased oil that conducts heat and stays warm. Once it heats up the unit only needs to turn on when it starts to cool down, much like radiant heated floors. The unit uses less electricity and keeps the furnace from turning on and off all day.
The unit fits perfectly in front of my patio doors which I don't use when the snow starts piling up. This is where I get all of my heat loss.
It is called Fahrenheat base board heater. $150 and it pays for it self the first month. Heavy duty but light weight. Google it. I have no financial interest in this endorsement.

I bought two of these when we redid our family room and I'm very happy with them. Since then I've bought another for a bathroom, one for a bedroom, and will be purchasing another real soon for another bedroom. They heat up quicker than what we had before and I appreciate that since the first two are in a sublevel room. They are also very quiet which is great because our old ones made a clicking sound as they heated up which was fine during the day but very annoying at night. I will continue to buy these for the whole house as we remodel!

We order the heater and was told it could take up to 2 weeks to get shipment from the manufacturer. I got a call in 4 days. Easy to mount. Clean look. Works well

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer Replacement is big improvement over original
I was very impressed with the quality of the product. The finish is far superior to the finish of the original electric baseboard that this replaced. Also, the original had to be mounted about an inch above the floor, so the carpeting went under it you could see the bare wall (no trim) below the heater. This particular model goes right to the floor so there is no bare wall behind and no carpeting or flooring visible beneath. Simple instalation... many points along the back that screws can be drilled through, easily attached.

This purchase is one of eight (8) baseboard heaters that have been installed in our home. Never had a problem with heaters not working, heat is uniform and with the use of ceiling fans, thermostats are never set above 55 during the winter.

Couldn't be happier with the cost and efficiency of this heater. It is so unbelievably quiet that I am going to replace my other heaters with Cadet heaters.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RBVAL Just what I needed.
This product arrived promptly in perfect condition, It was fairly simple to install, although one of the circular "knock-out" pieces of metal was difficult to remove, and the angle for screwing the unit into the wall was not ideal. Once installed, the performance was entirely satisfactory. The initial smell did not last long, and the room heated up quickly. I am pleased with the appearance and easy operation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TPM51 Cadet Basebpard heater
First out of the box, this unit is very attractive. The bright white finish fits in well with our baseboard molding. The unit is very simple to install following the company directions. This was used as a replacement heater. We are very satisfied with the Cadet Baseboard Heater. Cadet also is the only company to offer a 5 ft. heater which is exactly what I needed to fit in the space as a replacement.
