Had to extend wiring because there is not enough room in a 2x4 box for splices, and the device to fit. also programing instructions were confusing, but was able to figure it out thru trial, and error. Overall I am very happy with the device, and love the back light display.

Used this product to replace old dial type thermostats for our electric base board heaters. The programing is nice and helps keep energy usage down. The install was super easy and took only a couple of minutes. The only criticism I have is that I don't believe you have the ability to change the times of day in which the program switches to "active" or "away," only the ability to change the temperatures for those periods. Not too big of a deal as the times, more or less, correspond with our schedule but it would be nice if it was fully customizable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hopefully it is a good purchase I am having tremendous problems programming the thermostats, I even had a friend of mine who is a licensed electrician for 35 years try to figure out the programming and he could not get them programmed correctly. The reason I would recommend this product is because others may be more astute at programming them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Home Depot In a recent replacement of condo baseboard heaters and thermostats, Home Depot was right there for me. If it was not in stock, they ordered from another store and made our pick up of products much simpler.Staff were always helpful and courteous. And we wound up with excellent products, especially the programmable thermostat. I now have a comfy home to enjoy and no worries about whether I turned down or set thermostat for night, vacation or just being away for a few hours a day. I truly recommend these thermostats. Takes some concentration if you install yourself, programming. But that is doable and you can depend on they. Honeywell's/Cadets are great.
