Thank you for your question.
The maximum amperage you can wire to this thermostat is 15 amps. When wiring more than one baseboard to a thermostat you will want to ensure that the combined amperage of the heaters does not exceed the amp rating of 15 amps for this thermostat.
At 240 volts you can wire up to 2 baseboard heaters up to 1,500 watts each to this thermostat. We do not recommend wiring more Read More

At 240 volts you can wire up to 2 baseboard heaters up to 1,500 watts each to this thermostat. We do not recommend wiring more than two baseboards to any one thermostat. Please see the diagram in the link below for the amperage draw of all Cadet baseboard heaters.

I'm replacing a 240v single pole thermostat. Will this thermostat work in a single pole configuration, or do I need to break the other leg of the 240v circuit and connect the thermostat in its double pole configuration?

Thank you for your question.
No, the TH115 cannot be wired as a single pole thermostat. The best option for an electronic programmable single pole thermostat is the TH106. Please see the link below.

I have older baseboard heating, not sure if they are Cadet brand or not. I am wondering if I can use this to replace the old ugly wall-mounted thermostats that control my baseboards. Is this a universal thermostat that will work on all models or only Cadet?

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your question! This thermostat is rated for 240/208 volt models and 15 amp 3600 watt maximum load. The voltage and wattage of your current heaters will need to be determined first. This thermostat will work on most 240/208 volt electric wall heaters/baseboards under 3600 watts.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice equipment I like that the T-Stat is programmable and has a vacation switch to turn the temperature down to a set point that is pre-programmed or set by the user September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love Home Depot In a recent replacement of condo baseboard heaters and thermostats, Home Depot was right there for me. If it was not in stock, they ordered from another store and made our pick up of products much simpler.Staff were always helpful and courteous. And we wound up with excellent products, especially the programmable thermostat. I now have a comfy home to enjoy and no worries about whether I turned down or set thermostat for night, vacation or just being away for a few hours a day. I truly recommend these thermostats. Takes some concentration if you install yourself, programming. But that is doable and you can depend on they. Honeywell's/Cadets are great. February 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent little thermostat It's slim pickings when it comes to finding a good modern thermostat for baseboard/wall heaters these days, but this guy is great! I really like the smaller profile compared to most other lower priced digital thermostats. It works perfectly, the backlight is nice and bright so everything is readable, and the programming is quite flexible. Honestly I'm not sure what other reviewers who complained about the difficulty programming it are talking about. I followed the instructions printed in the manual, set the clock, customized my times and temperatures, and it worked like a charm. Wasn't difficult to do at all. February 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great little thermostat I bought this because my kitchen (which has a 7 foot by 10 foot bow window) was always cold on winter mornings. I installed a simple baseboard heater below the window, and wanted something that I could program to come on just before I get up, and bring the room to the same temperature as the rest of the house. This is a nice compact, easy to program thermostat. A great value for the money, and perfect for my use case. December 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cadet/Honeywell DP Thermostat These units are awkward to program. It states four periods but it only allows two temperature settings that are automatically assigned to these four periods. This limits the usefulness of programming and a waste of your money. October 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hopefully it is a good purchase I am having tremendous problems programming the thermostats, I even had a friend of mine who is a licensed electrician for 35 years try to figure out the programming and he could not get them programmed correctly. The reason I would recommend this product is because others may be more astute at programming them. September 29, 2015
