Answer:
Hi Ray and thank you for your question.
The Cadet F series baseboard heaters need to be hard wired to the breaker. Do not wire them to a plug-in outlet. Doing so will void the UL approval and also void the warranty.

Hi Gil and thank you for your question.
120 volt and 240 volt will both be just as efficient and economical. The cost of running your heater will be based off of kilowatts used and electrical rates in your area regardless of the voltage. 1,500 watts used will cost the same whether it is 120 volt or 240 volt.

Answer:
Hi Lynn and thank you for your question.
Yes, you will need to use a 20 amp 120 volt breaker to wire a 1,500 watt 120 volt baseboard heater. This will require using 12/2 wire with ground.

Answer:
Hi James and thank you for your question.
The $55 heater is the 6F1500-1A which is a 120 volt heater and the $39 heater is the 6F1500A which is a 240 volt heater. The difference of the two heaters is the voltage. It is very important to know which voltage you need before purchasing.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No More Gas We had one remaining office with a 25+ year old gas wall furnace which was replaced with an inexpensive 120VAC base board heater. This works GREAT! and was quite easy to install. The other BIG selling point was free delivery. It is tricky for me to choose when I am at the store, but online I can go right to what I am looking for. Thank you, Home Depot. March 2, 2012
