The Cadet Electric Baseboard Heater utilizes convection heat to provide efficient warmth. Designed for ease of installation with pre-punched mounting holes, this hardwired heater can be wired at either end. Rugged U.S.A. steel construction with powder coated white paint for a durable, premium finish. A thermostat is required and sold separately.

This is the most efficient design for cheaply turning Amps into BTU, out of all available electric heaters.
240 Volt is usually at the cheapest rate for a given supplier.

Answer: 
It costs me $75 to heat my 1000sq. Ft. Insulated pole barn. This is based on per months x 3 heaters at around a constant 69 degrees during winter.

That really depends on how cold it is outside, how warm you want it inside and how well insulated the room is.
That being said, it takes about 10 Watts per square foot to heat a space so this 6' heater @ 1500 watts will heat around 150 square feet about 12x12 or 9x16.

1500 watts /240 volts = 6.25 amps
But your power is probably closer to 220 volts so that would be 6.8 amps.
SIze to the higher value (6.8) just to be safe

If you have a 1500 watt heater, like the Cadet baseboard, just divide 1500 by 240 and the result is the amperage draw or load. This equation can also be used to figure out wattage: multiply amps by the voltage rating, 6.25 by 240, and the result is wattage. The equations are governed by Ohm's law related to electricity.

Thanks for the great question about energy efficiency! Nearly all of the electricity consumed in an electric baseboard heater is directly converted to heat, which means every dollar you spend on heating goes toward heating your home. With Cadet heaters, no heat is lost through duct work or exhaust systems, and no energy is wasted.
For cost to operate, the formula is watts/1000 multiplied by the rate your utility charges per kilowatt-hour. For example, our kilowatt-hour rate is 8.16 cents (we have a great rate). For a 1500 watt heater, the formula would be 1500/1000 x .0816. The result is slightly more than 12 cents to operate the 1500 watt Cadet electric baseboard heater for an hour.
For additional energy savings, we recommend the use of a programmable thermostat that keeps your room within a much tighter temperature range. There is a model that mounts directly on the end of the baseboard heater, and a couple of wall mount options too.

Really easy to install and not too heavy. The only thing is we didn't buy any of the thermostats with it because we weren't aware we needed to get those with it, but now that we picked those up we are able to use the heaters just fine.

It was relatively easy. It did have a small dent but didn't matter to me. It was for my bedroom. Lets out heat nicely and was reasonable price. What else could you want? I just need to paint around where the old one was. :)

My contractor installed it, and it would not work. The thermostat was bad. I exchanged it for another, and once it was installed it worked for 6 hours before the thermostat started smoking, and burst into flames. It tripped the breaker and went out, thankfully. I will be purchasing a new heater and thermostat of a different brand.
