Customer Questions & Answers

do you make a thermostat that will take 5500 watts and 23.9 amps double pole? or do you have a recomindation on what to use to make this work?

Asked by: Dad
Thank you for your question. We do not offer a thermostat that will handle 5,500 watts and 23.9 amps. We would recommend that the load be broken up into 2 circuits using 2 separate controls.

Does the C612-25 have a max of 6000 volts?

Asked by: Dad
Thank you for your question. The maximum rating for the C612-25 is 6,000 watts or 25 amps, but we only recommend using a maximum of 4,500-5,000 watts on this thermostat. This thermostat will not be able to handle any more than 4,500-5,000 watts for an extended period or there is a chance of inaccuracy and not regulating temperature efficiently and properly.

What is the correct amperage?

Cadet thermostat model C612-25 is rated at 25 amps on the Cadet webpage, but your specs say 22 amps.
Asked by: Anonymous
Thanks for your interest in Cadet products. We apologize for the inconsistency between the information on the Cadet webpage and the Home Depot specs. The correct amperage rating for that product is 25 amps. We have made the change on the Home Depot website, and the information should be corrected within 24 hours. We appreciate you pointing this out, and thanks for the question.
