Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rocky Great electric room heater
My Cadet heaters have been in service over 6 months and work well. The installation (new construction) was straight forward. They are relatively quiet and the thermostats work fine. There is no off switch and the lowest thermostat setting keeps the room about 40 degrees F.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Robert Great Product, as advertised and heats well!
This is the second Cadet heater product that I have installed. It is a great value as well as easy to install. product came with a built in thermostat so wiring was a breeze. I am using this product to heat a bedroom and it fits right into the scheme of the room, small, compact and heats up right away. I am still working on the room and it is already suppling heat to keep us toasty as we finish the job. I purchased the 220 volt version as the cost will be cheaper than the 110 version. Highly recommend this product and the Home Depot web site.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DonC This is a good heater.
I am a property manager and I install these in my rentals. They are reliable and long lasting. They heat up a room faster than a baseboard, and take up less space.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GetItRight Rental replacement fit right in
Rental property where the unit was probably abused and died. Purchased another Com-Pak and slipped right into existing housing (Com-Pak) which was good after 8 years the spec's didn't change and changeover was done quickly.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Yoda Works well in rentals
I have an older rental property and these were an easy upgrade. The tenants can control the units that they want on and in some two bedroom units, they tend to only heat the bedroom that is in use. I believe that they have about a three to five year lifespan unless you go in and clean them out at the very least, once a year.
If you are looking at a single or multiple heating unit for your own home, look at the radiant type heating units. They tend to deliver a more uniform heat but are more costly and more costly to install.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by BDW9 Works fine but needs option to blank out thermostat
This heater is easy to install and works fine but does not have the optional plug to remove the thermostat to allow the unit to be controlled by an independent wall thermostat. Since it is not provided in the standard packaging, the plug should be made available separately. I used this unit to replace a failed baseboard heater that already had a wall-mounted t-stat. I purchased the heater and a new Cadet digital t-stat to allow for better temperature control and wanted to avoid the duplicate control at the unit.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jodi replacement for recalled version
The heater works great. My only complaint is that it is about 5" shorter than our previous model which was recalled. We had a hole in the wall under the new heater, which resulted in having to redo our bathroom walls. Not the heaters fault. Just the company making a newer, smaller version.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JulieB Exactly what I wanted
I needed a wall heater to replace the one in a bathroom. The heater had to fit the exact space already cut into the ceramic tile.
The Cadet heater is the one recommended by my electrician. Because the particular model was not carried in stock at my hometown Home Depot, I ordered it on-line. In a few days, Voila! There it was, sitting on my porch, waiting to be installed.
Thanks, Home Depot ON-line.
