Answer:
The T410 thermostat uses a plastic backing plate, so there no ground connection supplied or needed to install.
However, just a reminder that the heater itself should be grounded for safety, (bypassing the thermostat).
We hope that answers your question.

The hole size should be 2 3/4 inches wide x 4 1/2 inches tall for the single gang box. The thermostat will need to be connected to the gang box and all line voltage connections should be made in the gang box per electrical code.

I followed the Cadet Support User post and blew a breaker because it was incorrect advice. Really??? How frustrating. The instructions could be made so simple by stating which sets of wires are to the panel, and which wires are to the heater. Instead you get L1, L2, T1, T2, etc. just say Power1 (120), Power2 (240), Heater1 (120), Heater2 (240). Ughhh

Answer:
The location of your thermo stat is very important, so it is hard to be precise. You already know 10 degrees difference,so it much easier to adjust your temp. This is the main reason that many thermo stat don't come with a temp. degree, but rather a min to max dial.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT PURCHASE This thermostat worked perfectly to replace a thermostat that was used for radiant ceiling heat in my mother's home. The size was not the same as the previous thermostat, and we inexpensively used a regular switch plate for a backing. Worked great! Quick shipping!
