The M611A is a single pole thermostat and the M612A is a double pole thermostat. A single pole thermostat only has a high/low setting whereas a double pole thermostat has a positive off setting.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not a good choice this thermostat is off by about 10 degrees, have it set at 75 can not get the room over 65 degrees. using 2 eight foot heaters in a 400 sq ft room should get over 65 November 8, 2015
