This fan-forced wall heater features a high-performance fan and dual exhausts that help ensure even heat distribution as well as quiet operation. Although it is not recommended, If you want to use a wall thermostat, you can. Simply turn the dial all the way up as far as it will turn. Then control the heater with the wall thermostat.

Using a wall thermostat is not recommended because all SL models come with a built-in double pole thermostat that features positive off.

No. You are not allowed to exceed 12amps on a 15amp circuit. 80% rule.

Hi Johnny, this product can run on a 15 amp circuit. This unit is 12.5 amps, runs on 120 volt. This product is hardwired. Hope that answered your question.

the hole from the previous heater is situated with the longer sides on the vertical...will this work to install that way?

This heater was not designed to be installed vertically and has not been UL tested or approved in this position. Installing the heater vertically can cause damage and void the warranty.

Thanks for your question. The Cadet SL series heaters do not come with a variable speed motor. The bimetal thermostat in the unit reacts to the room temperature and turns the fan on or off. Cadet does offer the Energy Plus heater that features a variable speed motor and runs at 1000 watts at 120 Volts, or 1600 Watts at 240 Volts.
