This is a drip pan to put under a hot water heater. I found that it's perfect to put my Christmas tree stand in as I have hardwood floors and when watering I didn't want to have any water lingering under the stand on the floor. I filled the drain hole with silicon. Let it dry, then placed it under the tree. It does it's job perfectly in this capacity. And it's a nice, big, water proof, tray for a few bucks and can be used year after year. I highly recommend it for this purpose.

The Drain pain fit perfectly in the corner for new hot water heater I helped installed. It was easy to install a hose through the floor to drain for the over-flow.

Definitely would recommend this product especially to avoid issues when and if your water heater ever leaks. When I bought my home I didn't think about having one. Not Intel I had a leak and ruined my wood floor. If I would have had this drain pan It would have saved me a lot of time and money.

Value may present itself if and when water heater leaks. Looks good for sanitary and aesthetic purposes. Not sure how to use drain opening, no floor drains available. Should have plug to close drain opening if not applicable.

The drain pan is performing the job as advertised. Be careful to set it on a flat surface else the pan is not sturdy enough to provide a good base for the water heater.
