Hi, This may be a silly question, but I need this exact configuration but for 30 amp instead of 50 amp. Can I use this adapter. I need a 40 amp 4 prong female to 15 amp 3 prong male adapter. I have not been able to find this exact configuration. I have a Dog Grooming trailer that has a 30 amp 4 prong male prong and I need this configuration so I can plug directly into a home instead of my generator.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Adaptor Let's me get 50 amp service when a 50 amp recepticale is not available, and with the 30 to 20 amp adaptor you can use two 20 amp recepticales to get 40 amps to your 50 amp plug. Works great for me at the race track where there are lots of 20 amp recepticales available. February 10, 2016
