This product makes installing an air compressor system 100x easier. Instead of having two separate devices inline, you have one that does the job of both.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MiniMe Mini sure means "mini"!
Besides the fact that this product is no longer than my palm to finger tips, it doesn't even have the oil resevoir! The picture is very misleading and the specifications do not mention what parts come with it. The only thing that I received was the air/water seperator, and I think the pressure gauge. The seperator comes in a 9" tall, 2" diameter clear tube. The gauge may be hidden under the top but I am not going to bother opening it. I will be returning this ASAP.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SatisfyinglyDissatisfied Solid Mini Filter/Regulator Combo
I will start by addressing the previous review giving this product 1 star out of 5. I do not know if at the time of purchase the item description was different or misleading, but there is definitely no "oil reservoir" as this is a filter/regulator combination, not an airtool oiler. It is small, but that's the point. It combines a standard height 1/4" regulator with a standard height 1/4" separator/filter into a single, smaller package. There is definitely a pressure regulator on top of the separator/filter. The pressure gauge comes uninstalled and packaged under the soft rubber cap in the packaging tube. There is also a spare plug to put in the unused pressure gauge port.
Now for the actual product review:
The regulator is very easy to adjust and comes with a lock-out feature. To change the pressure output you pull up on the regulator knob to lock it in the adjust position, rotate the knob to either increase or decrease the pressure output, then push the knob back down to lock it at the set pressure. While adjusting the pressure up it will fill the regulator and when adjusting the pressure down it will bleed excess pressure out of the regulator for a real-time pressure gauge reading. Some old designs used to require you to relieve the upstream pressure before you got an accurate pressure reading, especially when adjusting the pressure down.
The separator/filter has the new style "turn-to-clear" drain valve as opposed to the old Schrader valve or threaded knob. This means you keep your hands out of the exit stream of air and other contaminants.
They have changed the oring sealing method for the separator/filter bowl to make it better than the previously good designs. Now instead of compressing an oring inwards to the center of the bowl, they have opted to use a larger diameter and cross-section oring and compress it outwards to the regulator housing. This means that when the oring swells it will be much easier to reinstall the bowl without worrying about pinching or rolling the oring over the sealing edge. Also, the new, larger cross-section oring is more robust and will resist deflection at installation better.
The regulator section comes with a threaded plastic ring on it for the optional wall mount or other through mounting options. This must be purchased or made and installed separately.
There are two pressure reading ports on the main body, allowing you to mount this filter/regulator in either a left-to-right or right-to-left orientation. The spare gauge port plug comes with thread sealant already applied which is nice, but the actual gauge does not. You have to make sure to apply either Teflon tape or some other thread sealant to the gauge threads before installation.
My general use for this regulator is for detail airbrushes which operate between 5-30psi normally. There is no issue adjusting the regulator to any pressure within this range. There is a minimal (approximately 2-3psi) pressure drop between fully closed and fully open air release, but that exists with any regulator-air delivery system and is easily accounted for.
I have used other Campbell Hausfeld air separator/filters before to 120psi with no issues and I expect none from this combination design. Overall I am highly satisfied with this product and how it works.
