Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quick WElding out of the box, takes practice and speed adjustment of feed critical... Product does as specified, Took a little getting use to settings, speed being critical to keep with electrical setting . Satisfied with it so far.... March 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Remarkable product for the $$$ I hadn't welded for about 40 years, but things around the home & property that could use a welder were adding up. So I did some research on these little flux core welders, to include a similar one at Harbor Freight. After all that I opted for this little guy for just a bit more money. I'm one of those that'd rather pay a little more up front, for less grief in the long run. I unpackaged the unit, followed the directions, clamped on a helmet and hit the trigger. The first couple welds weren't too bad, especially considering the circumstances of time and lack of experience on my end with a wire feed welder. I began playing with the feed and temp controls and after a couple minutes it put down a bead that surprised even me. One thing I'd discovered during my research was that competitive welders in this price range only have two heat settings—high & low. This one, on the other hand, has four. I have to say, I was thrilled to have those four heat settings to choose from (while trying to zero things in) that first day. I haven't begun to tackle the honey-do's yet, but feel confident this little welder will handle them just fine. June 2, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by """""The Little One That Can""""" I'm very impressed with this welder; It is unbelievable how well it gets the job done. Having spent 30+ years in the automotive industry I have used many different welders. I wanted a welder that would handle small tasks and I found one. This unit takes care of all my welding needs around the home and in my shop. It was easy to set up and I was welding in a few minutes. I enjoy using this welder and I couldn't be happier with the ease of operation and controls. September 25, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great backyard welder! This welder is wonderful for lighter weight metals such as a mower deck. Definitely not suitable for thick plate metal. July 16, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It does the job for the type of welding designed. A good value so far for a FCAW. Does the job as designed. You get what you paid for. April 16, 2013
