Customer Questions & Answers

Would this be good to use to blow up pool toys?

Asked by: SUE4NOTREDAME
Yes, the RP1200 inflator will work fine for inflating pool toys as long as you have access to a 12 volt power supply, such as a cigarette lighter in a car.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from basic tire inflator that rapidly does its job I wanted a basic tire inflator without a built in pressure gauge that just inflated tires quickly. I have a separate air gauge. I was very impressed at how much faster this inflator worked compared to the one it replaced. The only annoyance/challenge is getting the extra long electric wire and air hose back into the tight storage space. Summary: an excellent product for inflating tires and worth the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tire pump Nice and compact, I can wedge it for storage in my spare tire well. Works well to top off auto and bike tires, though more slowly than gas station pump. Plastic casing makes me wonder about long term durability, but at such a reasonable price, not a big concern.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Far So Good I've only had the inflator for a few weeks now and only used it one time but it seemed to work good. Tire pressure was 28 initially and I pumped it up to 34 before leaving for work. It only took a couple of minutes but the little compressor buzzed quite loudly as it pumped up the tire. It's small enough to carry around in the trunk and have available whenever its needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from okay, no gauge now Good air pump. This replaces the same item that wore out/broke after a long time. New model doesn't have a built-in gauge, old gauge wasn't very accurate, but it gave you a good comparison to start with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worked for 10 years I bought this back in 2002 and used it for nearly 10 years (once a month for 2 cars) until the lighter adaptor melted probably due to bad pump at that point. Took about 5 minutes to pump up a tire from 30 to 35 PSI, so it was slow but what can you expect at 12 volts. I used it all the time and it definitely saved time and money instead going to the gas station for air. The air gauge was not accurate at all. I would pump it up to 40 PSI to get 35 PSI on the tire. Must have the vehicle running to use this or you'll burn the pump out.
