Customer Questions & Answers

where to buy a brass SWIVEL coupling for the water inlet? Can you tell me the spec for the threads?

I bought PW1825 on May 2014. I only used the machine 4 times since, but the plastic coupling cannot be hooked up tight the machine, when I turn on the water supply it lost connection to the water inlet. I went to home depot in San Francisco, they told me that they do not carry this thing. And also, the threads in both ends are similar but not the same. Can you tell me the spec for the threads? Thanks
Asked by: John
The brass coupling can be purchased through Campbell Hausfeld, part # PM083000SJ.

What's the difference between the Model # PW1825 & the Model # PW1835?

Other than overall size, it seems to have the same specs at a diff price. 1800psi & 14amp/120v motor.
Asked by: marsn
The specs are the same. The difference is that the PW1835 has larger wheels and a hose reel that has the hose connected to the pressure washer so you do not have to connect for assembly. The hose reel is great for easy use and storage.

Can you switch from using detergent on my RV roof to automatically rinsing using just water. Can you adjust the pressure so that you're not using 1800P

Asked by: Lenny
You can switch from detergent to rinse by twisting the nozzle. The detergent will only dispense at the lowest pressure (twist). Increasing the pressure negates the dispense mode. Yes the pressure is adjusted at the nozzle; 1800 psi is the max, you can back it off. The other nozzle is straight full pressure and is not adjustable. Read the product reviews for more use full information; especially mine.

1800-PSI 1.5-GPM 1 l Electric Pressure Washer is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 79.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bang for the buck This pressure washer is a great bang for your buck. It cleaned the grout between my tiles on my outside patio. Works wonders on pavers. And has a nice attachment for cleaning screens. I was unsure how well it would do compared to a gas powered unit and although it isnt a gas machine i was very happy with the amount of pressure it has. Great for things around the house. The only downsize is it leaks where you connect the hose to the unit. It comes with a plastic screw connection instead of a metal one and it can be a pain to set it up just right, but im sire it can be easily replaced i was able to work with it though. Thats really the only negative ive found.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from leaking, obsolete and inferior with no customer support This product is obsolete and inferior in every way from it's upright design, cheap plastic production parts and lacks any Customer Service from Campbell Hausfeld; three calls to Campbell Hausfeld1800 and always 16 calls ahead, then a messsage comes on and says try your call later. After buying a metal garden hose fitting to replace the leaking plastic one furnished, the pump leaked from the bottom of the unit and was returned to the store for a credit. I bought an assembled low profile unit for the same money with quick release oring type hose connections and 3 actual brass jets, turned it on and it performed perfectly with no leaks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good value Only had this for a few weeks now but I like the power of the spray especially the turbo attachment. Cleaned dirt and algae off brick entry like a breeze. Great for spanish roof tiles too. Made short work of cleaning a vinyl fence a few days later. Also works GREAT on cleaning pool and jacuzzi filters. Only complaint was that you can't dispense soap at high pressure. Low pressure is useless for actually cleaning anything. It just allows you to apply soapy water gently on the surface of something, then go over the whole thing at high pressure with no soap. A longer nozzle hose would be nice but the unit is light enough to move around easily. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for the price Have used bigger washers on the jobsite; this one would do most of what the big boys did. Very impressed with the power (easily adjustable). Soap dispenser setting is just that an applicator. Rinse off with the higher pressure. Use the extra washer on the tank side of the hose coupling, tighten just past finger tight (slip joint pliers). No leaks on mine. Hose and cord are just the right lengths. First job was on vinyl siding; at lest ten years sense the last time. North side of the house took a little more time but the result was great. Doing the overhead soffit and fascia you get a bonus of a shower and cloths washed. Highly recommend. When finished I fill the soap dispenser with straight water and run it for a few seconds in the soap mode and then blow out the line with air pressure (lungs). Draining the hose and pump is also good (gravity). This a tool I will not loan out; she's all mine; nickname "Killer".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good deal for the money. Used my washer a couple of times. Cleaned the lanai and got all the fungus off the landcape garden walls. Works fine just a little finicky when you first start. I follow the directions for getting the air out but I think it still takes a few minutes of regular use to get it consistant. I had to put two garden hose washers into the hose side of the adapter to eliminate leaking. Changing the nozzle for high to low pressure is a snap. Electric cord and pressure hose more than ample in lenght.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for small household projects I used this to clean green off my decks. Did a fantastic job - better than I expected. Plan to use it cleaning off a friend's siding next. Light weight, easy to move around. My ONLY complaint with this is the connector to the hose. It can be really fickle and hard to keep from leaking ... even with hose washers in place. I've had other electric pressure washers similar to this with the same problem. Wish they could come back with non-plastic connectors/fittings. But its my only complaint - and the reason I down-rated from 5 stars to 4.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from satisfactory plus Used it 3 times so far and doing well with it. Put one or two extra washers in when you connect your garden hose to keep it from leaking. It is powerful enough to remove most mildew from house if you can get close enough to it. Be careful if you get real close because it can remove paint.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Buy!! Found this power-washer online and decided to give it a try. In the past, power-washers that were within my abilities to lift and use would burn out after a few uses. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars, so this was just in my price range. The washer did a great job - didn't burn out by the time I was halfway through the job and was easy for me to use. Up to this point, I am pleased with my purchase. Home Depot didn't carry this product, so I bought it online. The product arrived in a few days without any incident.
