Minimal amount of assembly. Started out on the driveway and sidewalks with the rotating wand. Ran for 2 hours straight. Then the boat ,with the fan spray wand. It was as if I was painting. Picture is the dock which had dirt, mold and lichen. No problem.
With the reel and the pockets for the wands, storage is easy. Only con is that I would have liked a longer HP hose. There's room for it on the reel, so I'm looking for an extension.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CarolynB Very Good Power Washer for the Money
I finally got the washer out of the box about 2 weeks after purchasing. It went together fairly easily, no thanks to the lousy instructions. There is still one part that I was able to figure out how to put it on, but I still have no idea where it goes, and it is not listed on the instructions anywhere. It is fairly intuitive to operate, both the washer hose and electrical cord are generously long, and even with the water hose attached to it, it is fairly easy to move with everything hooked up, which makes it very easy to maneuver when washing a large object or a building. The soap dispenser does not seem to be operating, so I still have to figure out why it won't pull soap in, but the water alone does a great job removing mildew and dirt.

Purchased unit in 2012. Used it to easily peel old paint and dirt from garage in prep for painting: Great! Used it to wash vinyl siding on house: Great! In 2012, used it to prep concrete patio for sealing and vehicle washing: Great! Today's 1st use of the 2014 season was for washing off grease & gunk from gas grill parts: FAILURE! Pump does not turn on despite checking all factors listed in troubleshooting guide. Not sure if this is the typical lifespan to be expected? Leakage at hose connection is tolerable and limited to drips.

Machine was unusable due to defective swivel adaptor. Several weeks on I am still waiting for this replacement part.
May be a good product with new swivel adaptor but obviously I can't yet comment on that.
Wonder if they will extend my guarantee period.?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Neal Fairly nice pressure washer
Assembly and hook up went swimmingly as did my initial tasks. However, as complexity increased, so did the mystery codes of the adjustable nozzle.
I wanted to use the soap injection as part of cleaning a weathered motorhome, a large motorhome at that ! Turning towards the + didn't always increase volume/pressure as did turning towards the - to decrease pressure/volume. I thought it was just a ME thing, so I took a break and re-read the directions and discovered that I did read and retain properly the first time.
I felt as a successful detective once I was complete with the wash project and the RV did look very nice and clean- minus the one ripped decal from a "decrease" in pressure adjustment that dumped the entire 1800 psi available. I hope I can recall the "code" for adjustments the next time...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ishmayel Used only once, so far performed well
Used it only once for our annual spring washoff of our patio and cover. Assembly was easy, though no instructions how to connect handle. I just gave it a bang, and it popped right on. I bought, and installed, a plastic quick connect for the water supply connection. No leaks whatsoever from there, or the pressure hose connection, which is permanently affixed. The detergent dispenser is very convenient to use. Likewise the hose reel and compartments for the nozzles are convenient.
The pressure is on the low side, but it works fine for my purposes. So, after only using it once, I give it 5 stars. Who knows about longevity or durability? My last electric pressure washer lasted about 6 years, with only once or twice a year usage. I looked into renting, but this product seemed a good risk.

You can't beat this model for what it offers based on the price. It worked like a dream on our old block house prior to painting, and even removed all the loose old paint from the wood eaves so we didn't even have to sand them before painting. It has enough power to do this, but can be dialed down enough to also clean our travel trailer. It even had good spraying power when not plugged in, but just using the water pressure. Installs in a snap, easy to maneuver, and stores away nice and neat. Highly recommend for around the house for a ton of uses!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by JClow Connections Leak
Product features a swivel hose adapter (two female connectors back to back) to hook the hose to the unit. The adapter that comes with the machine is poorly made plastic. I bought a replacement metal version hoping that would fix the leaking at the hose connection and it has not. I'm going to take the unit back and hopefully this is merely a defective unit. Power is as expected and I bought it only for purposes of cleaning my car. If you have more delicate siding such as masonite this is likely a good choice unit as well. If you plan on doing serious PW you should consider a gas version with more power. Again - I only purchased to clean my car and therefore the power is fine for that so I would recommend the unit for this or other light duty PW.
