This nailer was very reasonably priced, it appears to be built very well, and its worked super good so far. Being the first one I have ever owned I don't know if all of them don't drive toe nail joints to the surface or not, but on mine they drive to about 3/8 above surface and if you need it deeper its hammer time. On flat surfaces it drives beautifully. My compressor may be a litte on the light side so that could account for the toe nail joints issue too.

I picked this nailer because of the price and the fact that I've owned other air tools of this make and have had good luck with them. I've only put a couple of hundred nails through it so far but have had no issues yet.

Right out of the box was ready to use. Easy instructions and was ready to get to work. It was surprisingly lighter than I expected.

So far I am happy with this purchase. The nailer works good. Since I am a homeowner who will use it infrequently I think it will be a good tool for me. I like the cleated tip for toe nailing. It helps keep the nailer on target. I am powering it with a 2 gallon compressor with adequate results. A little bigger compressor would be better. I shoot about 5 nails at 100 psi before the compressor has to refill.

I purchased this item for light construction around my home. Primarily, I wanted to build a green house in my yard.
It works OK, but it ALWAYS jams on the last two or three nails. That requires unplugging the nailer from the compressor, taking it in the garage and poking and digging until I can get the nails out.

This nail gun jammed quite a bit - pretty much every time the nails transitioned from one set to another. It also is very hard to clear the jam. There is no good way to open it up to clear the nail. This gun lasted about 3 months of moderate use, then died altogether when I tried to clear a jam and a flimsy metal piece sprang loose on the interior. You get what you pay for.

Less expensive than the Porter Cable nailer but the PC has some features that the Campbell Hausfeld doesn't. For example - to turn the exhaust in a different direction you need the small Allen wrench provided while the Porter Cable can be done by hand. Overall it is a great tool for "weekend warriors" but if you a contractor I'd stay with a PC. Nuff Said!!

Only had the gun a week now, but it's already framed a two-tiered deck and a full bath. It's almost identical to the Rigid I had stolen, so I'm used to the style. It was $70 less, though, which is awesome.
If you're not attached to a specific brand, or if you use a Rigid gun already, then save some money on a good gun next time.
