3/8 in. Hybrid Hose is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Quality and Flexible Hose I believe this air hose is a nice compromise between flexibility and durability. Right out of the package I was able to unroll it across the garage and it laid pretty flat. With other hoses I have used they retained the package shape for a long period of time. This one seems durable and the cover is made to be resistant to oils and dirt, unlike a 100% rubber hose that seems to attract dirt. It does not come with ends/connectors, so be sure to pick those up while at the store. Only one complaint, it really has a strong chemical odor that lasts for a couple of weeks. I had to open up my garage the first day because the smell was really strong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality I've had this hose a couple of weeks and I like how flexible it is. I have a few different air hoses for different applications. I decided to keep this one clean for indoor use on my finish nail gun and paint gun. It stays pretty soft so I'm not knocking over furniture when I drag it around. It doesn't leave scuff marks on floors and because this one is a fifty footer, I rarely have to carry a compressor into the house. I have two other CH hoses that I bought more twenty years ago. One I use on automotive only and the other for framing. If this one lasts as long, I'll be a happy camper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Supraflex 50 foot air hose My brother had told me about this brand of air hose, and since I needed a longer air hose, one that doesnt get stiff in cold weather, I decided on getting this. The label says it is very flexable, and they are certainly correct on that point. Designed for pressures up to 300 lbs. this air hose is 3/8 inch in diameter, and having a temperature range from -40 to 150 degrees F. The hose comes with rubber ends that can push out of the way or they can remain to help protect the ends of the air hose. I recommend this product to anyone needing a new hose or wanting to replace one that is more flexable because theres nothing worse than a hose that stays coiled and gets in your way when your trying to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality all around So glad I switched to this type hose compared to the old style red rubber hoses that used to kink and break at the brass fitting connection. The super flexibility of this product is a pleasure when reaching into tight areas, plus the protective sleeve at the ends installed just past the brass fitting connector prevents the hose from kinking and breaking at that joint end. It is oil resistant and cleans up easily with a rag. Just a caution, if you do any torching near the hose, it will damage it, and I'm sure will not be warranted.

Most of them kink up on you when you are trying do something when you need just a bit more hose, but alas, your hose is in knots on the garage floor. Not this baby. It lays flat and you can pull it around anyways you like and it stays unkinked. I use it exclusively for my air staplers and brad guns as it is a no-mar type hose and it wont mess up the wood I'm working on. Wish it was made here but it is made in China.Good quality and value, however.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from outstanding hose I use this hose for airing up the tires on the family cars. It is long enough to leave the compressor in one corner of a two car garage and reach the tires on a car at the other corner. The hose really resists kinking. It's soft and pliable, but it doesn't seem to pick up dirt. The only negative aspect of this hose is that it smells like vinyl. Both hose ends are brass and female. You will need to buy a 1/4 NPT fitting for the ends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good General Purpose Air Hose This is a good, general purpose air hose. The quality is fairly average, but the hose material should hold up for a good long time without wearing out under typical use conditions. If you have a small air compressor and use it occasionally for different projects around the house, this hose will work well for you. If you intend to use your air compressor daily, have something higher pressure, or are using this outdoors a lot, you might consider a better quality hose for long term use. Overall, this hose sealed well with a bit of Teflon tape. The fittings are good quality. The plastic piece at the end to prevent crimping is a bit cheap and doesn't even attach to the hose end. I prefer a metal spring to a plastic piece, but it will do the job under typical use conditions. The hose material seems decent, at least better than poly. The hose length is fantastic!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but not the best available. It's certainly far more flexible than those cheap PVC hoses you see everywhere, but still not as flexible as a hard rubber hose or as some of the more expensive brand-named hoses which are specifically designed for the cold. It comes down to this: if you want flexibility, you want a rubber hose. If you want lightweight, you get a pvc hose. The problem with both of these is that rubber is heavy and pvc freezes. This hose is made with both, which is supposed to give you the best of both worlds. I found that when it's hot, the hose has a tendency to easily kink and twist due to being so thin. Now, it's currently summer but to test the cold conditions all I did was place the hose inside of my freezer set at 0 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 2 hours.I expected it to stay just as flexible. But, to my surprise, it was quite stiff. It was still better than a pure pvc hose, but not by much. At least the bend restrictors are nice, keeping the hose ends from wearing out prematurely. The high visibility color is great for construction zones and makes it easy to find, reducing the chance of becoming a tripping hazard for yourself or others.
