I need to repair wood fences around my house. Rather than swing a claw hammer in many positions, a palm nailer would be really desirable. I'm trying to find a suitable compressor.

Answer:
The FP2094 compressor is meant for inflation of car, bike tires etc. It does not produce enough volume of air to run a typical palm nailer.

Answer:
The FP2094 compressor does not supply enough volume of air to blow out water lines. You would typically need a compressor with a larger tank size, at least 15 gallon.

I would like to know if this air compressor has enough air to seal the tire of a small snow blower. The tire is totally flat and needs to be resealed.

Customer Reviews

3 Gal. Horizontal Air Compressor is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 78.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from The compressor worked as advertised. The unit came with everything needed to do the small jobs around the house or workshop and it's light weight makes it easy to move to wherever you have work. But it is EXTREMELY loud and I would say that hearing protection is REQUIRED. I would recommend this only if that is understood.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Compact, light-weight, noisy, slow Pro: Good value if you need a compressor occasionally for light-duty use. Oil-free air, adjustable pressure regulator, and includes typical home-owner accessories. Con: Requires assembly of supplied accessory air hose, tire chuck, nozzle. Slow to build pressure and noisy enough to warrant hearing protection if you work in the same room as the compressor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm Impressed I read all of the previous reviews of this compressor before I bought it and I'll have to say, so far it has exceeded my expectations. First of all the price is very Very good. Secondly the unit pumps up reasonably fast and operates exactly as advertised. It has good accessories and is perfect for what it's designed to do. It IS a little loud but from reading the other reviews I was expecting it to sound like a jet engine. It's loud but not crazily loud. I'm well satisfied with mine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile, and a very good value I just used this a couple of days ago. I used it to blow water out of my pex lines (for winterizing). Then I used it to power a framing nail gun. It was excellent for both jobs. My only complaint, especially for blowing out water lines, is that it is very loud indoors. If you're in a small room with this machine, you definitely want ear plugs. And make sure to follow the first-time start-up procedure (run for 30 min.).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Compressor for the Money The compressor functions well and came with all of the attachments and features that I needed. I bought the compressor for a crown molding job at the house, and it has done a fine job with that. The only issue was a leaky quick-attach valve that didn't form a tight seal. The pressure slowly dropped once the nail gun was attached. Other than that, the included air hose is only about 10 feet long. You may want to get a longer hose if you are doing a job where you will be moving around a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Specifically for RV tires. Slow but steady. I keep the RV tires at 80 psi and needed something very portable and lightweight. This compressor does the job very well, but it is a bit slow. If you're a patient individual, this will be fine. If not, buy something more powerful. It is light enough to carry with one hand, even has a molded plastic handle on top. Others have reviewed it as noisy, I don't think so. All compressors make a little noise, this one is not excessive. All things considered, a very good value. Thanks HD.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely disappointed My Dad has a very similar looking 3 gallon compressor. This thing is nowhere close! Specs aren't listed online, but they are on the box. This is 0.3HP vs 1.0 on his, and the more important number is air output; 0.39 SCFM for this 2.4 for his. This thing took 8 minutes to fill it's own 3 gallon tank! My ears are still ringing, this thing is being returned, for a few bucks more so I can get something that outputs 600% more air!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 Gal. Horizontal Air Compressor Using this air compressor to blow out grass, leaves and debris in John Deere Riding Mower. Product makes it easier to clean and prevent buildup around mower belts. Size and low weight makes this compressor easy to move near mower and to store on a shelf when done.
